This place is really busy, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes in line. Really nice decor, lots of books everywhere. The food portions are massive. The shooting star on the menu is the bomb! That's what you order here...always!

This is a no frills café which is rammed at peak times. Bit of a scrum to queue to place your order but was probably the best value food on our three day stay in the City. prompt service though An excellent burger and I've never seen such enormous bowls of soup. Probably worth avoiding the tables near the front... More

Enjoyed a decent burger, nice service and the atmosphere is quite good! Excellent location and always a good solution when you're looking for a bite and haven't booked anything in advance.

We visited this restaurant/cafe as my girlfriend had researched how to do Copenhagen 'on a budget'. This place is a little gem! The ambience and surroundings of the place were superb and we were very excited to try the food. We ordered lasagne and tagliatelle, I had a beer, and the bill came to 208 DKK (roughly £20). Given this... More

We ate there in January. It was very busy, we had to wait for a table arounf 20 minutes. Food was fresh but not the best quality. Herring though was very tasty. service a bit chaotic; we were not given hot chocolate we paid for. When I asked the waiter they told me to ask at the bar.

Grabbed the speciality burger after work and, though slightly more expensive than the other mains, was great value for money. The cappuccino I had afterwards was not nearly as good as I have had nearby and, I'm sorry to say, the quality of the brew seemed to vary depending upon who made it. The coffee aside, the food and the... More

Delicious. I got the chili con carne. Warm, spicy and a hint of Indian flavors. Served with jasmine rice. 2 pieces of bread and side salad. Did the passion fruit mango smoothie. Highlights: Order your food at the bar Find yourself a table After you order they give you a number placard and they find you and serve you your... More

Warm and cozy, lots of used books for sale (unfortunately for us tourists they're all in Danish, but they add to the ambiance), nice vibe and excellent food. It's near a university and so it definitely has the energy from the students but it's a low-key place with coffee, beer and really good food! I had the salmon which came... More

We came for breakfast and breakfast we definitely got! The place is pretty special -- I loved having my quiet morning surrounded by books! Food was lovely, too. We had big breakfast plates(regular and vegetarian) and everything on them was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!
