We are full time independent travelers so we have eaten in numerous types of restaurants throughout the world. We stopped at the Nyhavnscafeen after taking the Canal Tour Copenhagen. The restaurant is located along the canal and convenient. The food was tasty and the service was good. The price was your typical Copenhagen tourist price. Recommend if you are staying... More

I had dinner at but felt really sorry fr the waiter who was taking orders, pouring water, clearing dishes... it took ages to order (even though its not a large restaurant) and ages to get a second drink. And the portion was TINY (but tasty).

Hello Judy, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience with Gorm's in Nyhavn. We are happy to hear you liked the food. We know that the waiters sometimes has a lot to do - sometimes even too much, when there are a lot of people in the restaurants. This is also why we are training new... More

There is plenty of restaurants and bars in a compact area along a canal very close to many sights. You can sit inside but it is better outside as there are many tables for each restaurant and they do have heaters if needed.

Whilst in the middle of the tourist area of Nyhavn, the prices here were reasonable. On our first day, we had lunch at one of the outside tables, overlooking the boats, and the food was so good that we went back the next day. The weather had taken a turn for the worse on our second day, so we ate... More

Had a decent English style breakfast with fried eggs, bacon, jam, toast and tea at this place. Conveniently located in the Nyhavn tourist area.

Nyhavn is a very touristy area of Copenhagen - perhaps the only one. It's a beautiful 17th century canal, part of the old harbour, recently restored and revamped for that very purpose. Its Northern side is pedestrianized and lined with restaurants for tourists, all with outdoors seating for the warm summer evenings (I was there, sadly, on a rainy and... More

For a very unassuming place in the basement of what appeared to be an office building- this was such a good find and one that everyone should visit when in Copenhagen. From the outside, it didnt really look like much - actually even on the inside it isnt really much. Almost like the owners want you to focus only on... More

Loved this area. When I think of Copenhagen, I think of this scene. Many fun restaurants. Since we visited in late October, it was quite cool which didn't deter outdoor dining/drinking. Most restaurants provided heating and blankets. Very fun area.

While in Copenhagen, we wanted to have lunch at one of the restaurants along the canal. We ended up at Nyhavnscafeen (with Tuborg logo) & the lunch was very good. We sat at a table for two & met some nice people at the 2 tables next to us (the tables for two are relatively close together). We ordered "Shooting... More
