It seems like this place is more on the map as a bar/pub but we visited for brunch on a Friday morning. We chose our selections from the brunch menu at the bar and sat outside at a sidewalk table. The food was served fairly quickly and we enjoyed everything, especially the delicious breads! The prices were reasonable for Copenhagen... More

Unfriendly, rude and unprofessional service. One waiter forgot to put vodka in one cocktail and asked me to bring it back so that she could add it, and another waiter told me to figure out myself what what what as he could not remember which cocktails he made. Definitely not worth the visit. You can definitely find so much better... More

Bang & Jensen has a glorious past as one of Vesterbros first new trendy hang outs back in the 80-90ies, I think. Now it is a complete worn down dark dusty hole, with unfriendly service, disfunctional wifi and boring Danish "røvballemusik". Too bad and not worth the visit.

This place showed up on a few "best breakfast in Copenhagen" lists so we decided to check it out. The server was a bit surly, but other than that it was a good time. The build your own breakfast is huge and tasted great. Nice atmosphere of a cramped little bar that's clearly been there a long time. Loved the... More

It is true the world rotates on Gaffa tape and WD40. If a little refreshment is called for on the way, well B&J is the spot. From the early morning make your own breakfast all the way through to beer and late night cocktails this is your warm refuge.

We went here for a Saturday brunch and you must get the make your own breakfast plate. Fun to fill out the form and you get a ton of food. The yogurt and granola and the breads are particularly great. Plus once you're over here it's a nice area to walk around for antique shops. When yo go, grab a... More

This place comes up on a few brunch lists but it is very average.... It is no more than a 'hotel' esque breakfast. Tick off a few Bfast items on a list and they'll give into you on a plate. Probably good if you're a student or after something cheap but skip if you are here for a long weekend... More

A slightly ramshackle but warm cafe / bar in Vesterbro. We went for brunch and it had a nice buzz about it, but apparently it really comes alive in the evening when it becomes a bar. The food was really nice and decent enough value. The coffee was great. And there was free wifi. Win.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
