Over the 2016 US Labor Day weekend, my 20-something year old daughter and I stopped in to the Cafe Bankeraat for a local beer and a chance to catch our breath after touring the inner city. Exellent beer menu, great staff, and perfect location

The cafe's decoration is unique, varied and well worth a visit. When we visited there were student's quietly working away. A good sign of quality, reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere. Elizabeth, serving behind the bar was very friendly and had time to chat. The toilets are unusual and well worth a visit.

We went for brunch and realised we needed a menu to tick what we wanted but the barmaid wouldn't give me one, just an evening menu. Eventually, she disappeared and I helped myself to two 'tick' menus. She had been speaking fluent English to another customer when we arrived, so it wasn't a language difficulty. We ticked, then I while... More

Strange interior, unique but weird. Not cozy at all. But a great brunch, with a card to check out what you would like to eat. Nice coffee and, for Copenhagen, not to pricy. So if you would like to come to a unique place this is the place for you, and with a great tasting bruch as well. Whats not... More

The very quirky, at times strange decor/artefacts within the bar may seem strange but the staff are brilliant and the food amazing. A must go to when in the Rosenburg area. 5 min walk from the " glass houses" but defo go.

Happened upon this bar on our way back to the Hotel Kong Arthur and decided to pop in for a night cap. It was really busy, but atmosphere was great, and there's taxidermy and scary dolls to make your night complete!

I have been to this bar a few times over some years as I used to live around the corner and I wanted to show the place to my girlfriend who visited from US. The place is nice, music, drinks, all good. However, the unfriendly bar tender has just spoiled the experience. He looked annoyed when we asked simple questions... More

Weird to say to be sure to visit the restrooms... but be sure to visit the restrooms. The decor is amazing, eclectic and over the top. Very funny. Food was essentially pub food, but good. Bartender had lived in the States and was a huge Philly Eagles fan. So that was fun.

The cafe is a sight in itself with strange doll lamps, weird art work and stuffed animals. Added to this is good coffee, good food and an ambient and relaxed atmosphere. My favourite cafe through more than 20 years. It never disappoints!
