Went to Krogs for dinner, having reserved a table. The décor is very classic and tasteful; the tables are set with white linen and elegant tableware. We each started with 12 oysters to share DKK490. One followed with lobster bisque soup DKK75. The other chose...More

I was so, so disappointed with Krogs. I am baffled by the number of people on here saying this is the best fish they have ever had. If that's the case they haven't had a lot of great fish. The food wasn't terrible here necessarily,...More

Very disappointing meal, tiny portions , over priced and very limited choice on menu. Over rated and far better restaurants and choice in Copenhagen. This restaurant does a disservice to the range and quality of restaurants available in Copenhagen, do not go there.

Krogs is a fine restaurant with tablecloths. More then 100 years old china and professionally polite service. The food is in accordance with our expectations for that price range and rating. I would recommend ordering just main dish as portions are big and the bread...More

We had a three course menu. It was fresh and delicious. We waited a little too long for our food, although it was worth it. We could hear the pop music from the kitchen. That kind of music is not suitable for fine dining.

The restaurant lived up to all expectations for a high quality establishment: comfortable spacious seating, professional service and good food and wine. My visit was during dining week yet the high standards were maintained. As the name suggests the restaurant is oriented towards fish and...More

Overall, we were disappointed that it was hard to find good fish in Copenhagen. This was the best we had on our trip. Would give it five stars except for prices.

We had a set menu for the evening. Oysters, scallops, lobster, cod, and turbot. Gorgeous food, generous wine flight and friendly and attentive service made this a New Years Eve to remember. Thank you to all at Krogs.

Hi all, last week I was in copenhagen for a job meeting and I decided to eat in this restaurant. I ordered prawns as starter, a fish dish as main dish and an apple pie as dessert, drinking a red beer. I paid 94 euros...........More

Description
Krogs Fiskerestaurant has had an unsettled existence in recent years, with many different owners slowly but surely eroding the core concept at one of Copenhagen's most traditional restaurants. But now, Krogs is in the hands of people who take the grand old lady seriously. They have quietly spent the past 6 months in the kitchen to hit a culinary note that is uncompromisingly rooted in history, but also brings more than 100 years of Danish cuisine into the 21st century. From now on, Krogs Fiskerestaurant serves Danish classics with a personal touch - just no nonsense, honest food prepared from the best available ingredients. Their ambition is clear: offering the best seafood in the country, served in a pleasant and personal atmosphere - nothing more, nothing less.
