This is the type of restaurant that thrives on naive tourists' reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor - those who think they are getting an 'authentic' or 'traditional' experience but are actually just being served food beyond mediocre that give Danish cuisine a bad name. We...More

After a morning exploring the National Museum we stopped here for lunch, sat outside and appreciated the good service and well constructed menu. I ordered a smorgasbord type open face sandwich (sardines, potato, celery, red onion, water cress) that was incredible. Our group of 6...More

Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.
