Warm welcoming atmosphere on our visit on a wintry evening in March. We had the "Evening Platter", a nice sampler of Danish food items served in two successive "waves", the first being seafood oriented, the second meat and cheese. Also sampled some aquavit and some...More

I strongly recommend this restaurant, which ticks all the boxes: it is not to big and has a lot of atmosphere being located in a historical building; service is professional and attentive; and, above all, food is great: traditional Danish dishes (herring, smoked salmon, pork,...More

This was a really fantastic place to eat. We probably should have booked, but the staff managed to squeeze us in any way. Such a great team looking after us. Unfussy without compromising standards.

We had the large sampling menu and couldn't be more happy about it. There were 2 platters: 1st with several herring types and salmon. And the 2nd with lever postei, pork ribs, chicken salad and several types of cheese. Definitely recommend it. Staff was friendly...More

Came here for a birthday lunch during the weekend. Had booked a table. They had even added a Danish flag for the celebration, which I thought was a nice touch. Place was half full when we got there and then quickly filled up. Service was...More

The title says it all really! Partly underground a common feature in Copenhagen, this little jewel serves hearty Danish staples in a relaxed way. The staff are multi-lingual and appear to come from all over the world. There was a really nice Kiwi who gave...More

Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.
