We went to Meson Espana for dinner and we took the menu option including ten tapas for two people, as suggested by the waiter. While I was expecting some choice of jamon, tortilla and queso, we have been served the oiliest and greasiest tapas I have had in my life: everything was deep fried or swimming in oil or full... We were wandering along streets looking for somewhere to dine and stumbled across this tiny cellar restaurant but it's a small place with a big heart .... just one chef and one waiter (both Spanish) were working their socks off to keep everything flowing in a very busy and full restaurant and they achieved it perfectly. We were amazed to... More

Went there on a Wednesday night and grabbed one of the plenty free tables. The owner came to our table and was already very rude, complaining that we did not follow the "rules" of waiting to be seated (even though there was no such information nor 'reserved' signs on the tables). When paying, he started an argument with us and... More

If there is a thing that upset me is the lack in the service, perhaps I am very picky about service, but if you deal with people, i am afraid this is a must. I am not saying that clients are always right, but you as owner, should find any way possible to do not make then in a not... More

Never tried tapas before, and it was a love at first bite! If I really have to pick- and it's so hard- I would say you should definitely try shrimp, potatoes aioli and crema catalana.

Food was excellent. They just give you the chefs choice so no menu decisions needed. Really nice waiter who explained each dish and was very friendly. Best meal yet in Copenhagen .

Very good and tasty tapas. No menu, only chefs choise of the day and it's very succesful. Nice sangria and when you're finshed you have a great place with crafted beer next door.

Fantastic tapas with great friendly service! We went for the set tapas deal which gave us around 15 dishes for the three of us. Tapas was a great quality and the staff were really friendly. The location is great to sit outside too in a quite street not far from the city centre.

Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
