If your a icecream lover tou need to go to Ismageriet. It has moved 3 km from its old location to Roed Langgaardsvej 6. Dont let the loooong queue of people in front of the store scare you. Its worth waiting for ❤❤❤

Retro ice cream parlor with the most delicious ice cream. It is a longer detour worth visiting Isamageriet - both for the ice cream and the amazing retro interior, that gives it a very authentic touch.

Never heard of Ismageriet before, but gave it a go on of the first warm dans in May . And what a treat. Fantastic ice. Ok, long line of waiting customers but the short waiting time was it all worth. Great staff, smiling and helpfull and a lot of different choices. Wow. Will visit them again. And again and again.... More

This is the best ice-cream, every ice is pure. Ismageriet's strawberry icecream is made of real strawberries, and that does it for me.

Although it's almost always too crowded and the queue too long it's also always worth the wait. The ice cream is brilliant.

My first visit will not be my last! Great little gem on Amager, serving homemade ice creams and sorbets. Always a line-up, but moves quickly, with an average of 4 retro-clad servers to help. Very cute retro style in the shop, and amazing ice-cream. Put it on your to-do list, especially if you live in the Copenhagen area!

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
