Wow these sandwiches are huge. Popped in to grab some before heading to the airport and I wish we had bought one between us- if you can’t handle messy eating, this is not for you.
The guys who work there are really enthusiastic and worked tirelessly to get everyone’s food out - there were a lot of people waiting and some rather large take away orders.
We got the original sandwiches which were yummy but I felt I couldn’t enjoy it because it was just too over filled. A lot of the filling fell out and made a mess. Maybe I’ll ask for a child’s version next time...! :p

This place serves the best sandwiches i've had to date, forget about overpriced sandwiches at cafés, this is the way to go. When you order a sandwich, you get an insane amount for the price of 1, the sandwich is always split in 2, so if you, your friend or your significant other buys 1, there should be plenty. If you do decide to order 2, i would recommend choosing 2 different sandwiches so you can get one half each of 2 delicious variants.
PS. i love the glass display, you can see each of the ingredients used, it's a delight to behold the sight of endless amounts of quality ingredients.

Plenty and tasty as others have said. Tried the classic sandwich. While we were waiting for our sandwiches there were lots of pick ups/food delivery orders coming through so it took a while for us to get our sandwiches. Nevertheless, we will definitely go back!

Smagsløget was highly recommended by a friend who had worked at Improv Comedy Copenhagen. "All great," he texted, "and can be shared."
So it came to pass that, on our last day at our nearby hotel, I arrived at Smagsløget right at the open, ordered the #1 (anbefaler - Danish ham, brie, bacon & salsa), and hustled it back to the hotel. My wife & I found horizontal surfaces on opposite sides of the room, and until we had consumed this delicious assemblage, we didn't speak. There's a chance we didn't even look up.
Plenty of variety on the menu. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to CPH.
Pro-tips:
Limited seating inside.
They make everything fresh, so allow 10-15 minutes for preparation.
It's not impossible to eat one on your own... but you'd be doing some work.

Be prepared. If you're very hungry this is the place to be, but if you're looking for a quick snack maybe you want to consider any other place. In any case, these HUGE sandwiches are really tasty and the guys preparing them are so nice! Try the ones typical Danish, like those with frikadelles or salmon. Highly recommended!

Enter the humble abode of Smagsloeget. You will find no fancy decor in the shop, just an instant homely feel leading to the desk where you will be served rapidly. My sandwich was utterly delicious and the best thing I had in Copenhagen so far. Cannot fault this place in any way. What I received was simply the best sanwich I have ever had no more no less. When the taste is so good, sliced to perfection, this place needs to frills. Top score!

Wow, a lot of food! Both the vegan and the mexican was tasty. Even for my big man the portion was almost too big, I could only eat half og mine. If we were two hungry women we could have shared mine and still be full, they cut the bread in two so sharing is no problem.

Extremely tasty food and very friendly people working there. This place was recommended to us by someone living in the city - they said to take the Flæskestegssandwich (one was big enough for us two) and it was delicious. Mouth watering now that I think of it again. :-)

Most thing changes, but the quality of this sandwich is not one of them.
Always a pleasure to eat a sandwich from here. The taste is always spot on, the size of it makes this fat boy smile and it is always served by a friendly employee.
Definetly something that makes the winters better. I can highly recommend this place

The best pork sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. An absolute must go if you’re in the area. One word of warning - these are some hefty sandwiches, so make sure you’re really hungry first!!

Their sandwiches are really good (roast pork and meatballs) and then they are always friendly in there.
There is not a cozy place to eat inside, if the weather is good one can go down to the lakes which are not that far away.
But continue your good work, I have at least been there many times now and will keep coming again.

This place is so cool and delicious BUT you have to wait very long before you get any food. They seem not very flexible within their menu (for example if you do not want any capsicum) and it seems like they prefer delivery services and locals. We waited over an hour before our food arrived and the service wasn’t friendly at all. I hope it was just a one time experience and I‘d like to try again if I should ever visit Copenhagen again.

This is an extremely nice sandwich place. Prices are reasonable, and portions are big. However, the service is *extremely* slow - nearly 20 minutes for getting a sandwich at 3 PM, when nearly no-one was in the store.

Found this sandwich shop on the second day of our short trip and returned the next day. Friendly staff, menus in different languages inc. English.
Absolutely great value for money, the sandwich are prepared fresh with a variety of fillings and then toasted. Meats and cheeses from Europe, this sandwich would probably do two people if you plan on eating later. We only had a light bite for tea much later in the evening as we were still full. Anticipate a slight wait of 20mins if visiting at lunch hour as it can be busy. Highly recommended.

Excellent sandwich, great great taste, lots of choice. Ingredients seemed very fresh BUT : like everybody else mentioned : they are HUGE ! I managed to eat mine but the wife and (teenager-)kids had to throw away half of their sandwich, so consider buying 1 sandwich for 2 people. We are in CPH for 3 days but consider going for a second time…
