Great atmosphere. Have a long lunch with great seafood dishes and wine, traditional Swedish dishes. Enjoy people watching in the posh part of Stockholm. Be prepared that you need to wait a while to get seated.

The smoked salmon is the best in the world. This time, they also had a lovely warm pot of mushrooms. Apart from being a divine and fun place to meet friends, I got startled seeing a friend from San Francisco seating herself nearby. It is...More

There's a limited menu at this restaurant inside the market,Östermalms Saluhall. However, the oysters were good, the smoked salmon was fantastic, and my friend's halibut fish of the day was terrific. The ambiance is, well you're inside a market, and that's what it feels like.

Slightly hard to find, Lisa Elmqvist seems to be in temporary premises at Ostermalms Saluhall. The never ending queue when we had lunch was to me testament to the good food they serve. Not a diehard seafood fan, I enjoyed a plentiful shrimp sald washed...More

We had the most delicious iced coffee and toast Skagen in all of Stockholm! We loved every bite. This is a small casual restaurant inside the covered farmers market. Not to be missed!

From market trader to purveyor to His Majesty the King. It all began in the early 1920s. Fisherman's daughter Lisa Elmqvist traded her wares at a street market by the waterfront, and customers quickly flocked to her stall. Her fish, shellfish and cookery skills were of such a high standard that she swiftly moved up to Ostermalms Saluhall - the perfect place to allow her ability to shine through. Today, 90 years later, the fourth generation of the Elmqvist family continues her work assiduously from the same stall, gaining more and more experience and ambitions. The restaurant has recommendations in Guide Michelin for the last 10 years in a row. During the renovation of the old market hall from 1888 you will find us at the temporary market hall at Ostermalstorg. We will move back summer 2018.
