We visited via the daily free bus as we stayed in downtown Stockholm. Bus journey was approximately 20min into the surbubs. Pick-up/drop-off points are the same at IKEA Kungens Kurva. Buses leave/arrive at regular intervals. For those driving, there were plenty of parking around including...undergorund parking. Massive building with display rooms in the central area and stock around the perimeter and each floor is dedicated to each section of a house. Restaurant is great with plenty of seating area and excellent prices and great play area for the kids. Great day out of Stockholm. There was a couple of shopping centres located next to IKEA in Kungens Kurva as well for further retail therapy.More

Had gluten free lunch, chicken with bearnaise sauce, veggies and french fries. All good except that the chicken, whilst being cooked through, was not hot or even warm which made the meal less enjoyable. Cold fodd is apparently a regular occurrence with the IKEA restaurant....Also strange for a switched on company like IKEA that much of the ingredients in their food contained unnecessary additives.More

Fantastic Swedish Christmas meal buffet. Starts with cold fish and meat - the herring is fantastic as is the beetroot coleslaw type dish. Then hot sausages/meatballs and potatoes in all different styles. Then rice pudding and a berry crumble for desert.

Ikeas restaurant in Kungs Kurva is the best and cheapest in Sweden. Best food for breakfasts and lunch. You can take your family and go there and then do other shoppings in the area, also have discount if you are a member

You feeling like buying it all. You want to eat it all. Decor, furniture, household things to food everything is good. Day spent well. Ikea has buses from the city centre that bring you to their store. It is the original store. Do visit.

Even if you aren’t going to IKEA to shop, their cafe and bistro have insanely cheap prices in addition to their food being delicious. Definitely worth going if you have free time in Sweden.

Interesting to see how big it is and the stock. Free bus during the week(not weekends) from the center of Stockholm is a plus for visitors. Set up is very good with step down center floors much nicer than the usual walk through. 3 cafes...serving the usual IKEA fare and some other There are also a few other outlets opposite and in the immediate area. Interesting way for a shopper to spend the day or part.More

We had some trouble finding the bus stop for the ikea bus which departs to the hour starting 10 am. Managed to catch it and were down there in 20 minutes (return bus is to the hour at the x.30 hour). Place is not as...huge as I thought. Easily manageable in 2 hours. Do stop by at the cafe though, the eats are pretty cheap. At the cafe at the top floor you get all sorts of sodas from their fountain for free. There are cafes on almost or I think every floor, and the one on the ground level had these real cheap softies...the white one is better (also cheaper) than the pink berry flavour! If you still get tempted to get the pink one, don't say I didn't warn you :) All in all, a good one time visit.More

The food was tasty, good quality for such a cheap price! The staff was friendly and nice. Also liked their hot dogs and ice cream at the checkout, simple and tasty!

We had time to kill + our train pass valid anyways. Decided to make a trip down to the largest IKEA since in stockholm (why not?) We didn't walk around much since the place is HUGE but we were mainly there for the food. Food...was great (way better than home for sure). Love IKEA.More
