Walking by this restaurant and decided it looked warm and cosy. We had fish and chips. It was delicious. Very attentive staff that checked on us frequently. Great attmosphere all round.

Pickwick is an excellent location to spend an hour having a glass of wine while people watching. This restaurant has fast friendly service, reasonable prices and outdoor seating that is in the heart of a busy street and conducive to great people watching. I wish they had an outdoor no smoking section but that aside, this is a great lunch... More

We wanted to try the Swedish Meatballs while in Stockholm and this looked the best place. Overlooking a pedestrian street just the perfect place to eat and people watch. The meatballs were just OK, perhaps just not to our liking but staff and service were excellent.

We had sunny weather in Stockholm, is was nice to sit outside having something to eat (local fare, please) and nipping on local beer .... Pickwick's is located in the pedestrian street on a corner, therefore no noise from cars and the alike. People walk by, it turned out to be so enjoyable that we went there again and again.... More

They have quite a good beer selection, and also serve food. A bit pricey in my opinion (179 SEK for a burger with a few fries and 55 SEK for half a pint of Smithwicks), but the burger was very tasty.

Visited Stockholm over the weekend and needed to get some food. I bumped in to this place which looked nice and went in. I got prompt notification by the staff and once I sat down there was another staff member to ask if I had been served already. I took an ordinary bar meal (burger) and chatted with the waitress... If it looks like a tourist trap, it usually is. The definition of a tourist trap is: great location in a tourist frequented area, indifferent or horrible food and always awful staff. The Pickwick is actually an exception to the rule. It is located in the absolute center of Stockholm (not counting the Old Town), it is swarming with tourists,... More

The meal is good. The staff is friendly but when we wanted to pay the waiter stay close to us demanding a tip which is a little violent. Except that everything was really fine and nice.

Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes, um, yes, please. Pickwick offers some very tasty Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes. Service was good. We are outdoors and enjoyed the weather and people watching.

Description
What can you say about this rustic pub and restaurant. On the corner Fredsgatan / Drottninggatan, there has been an old tavern called Kejsarkronan in the 1800's. Fine details have been preserved as well as stucco decor. Now Pickwick has been around for over 20 years and has found its given place among Stockholm's pubs and restaurants. We offer a variety of beers on tap (15) and approximately 100 bottled beers from around the world.Among our whiskeys you can find fine blended whiskeys such as Makers Mark, Gentleman Jack, Knob Creek and many more.Among our single malts can you find legendary and smoky Lagavulin, crispy Talisker and our favorite Benriach 15 years. Our kitchen offers swedish specials such as pyttipanna, homemade meatballs to international dishes such as salmon, primerib hamburgers and a lot of our guests favourit dish fish and chips.Come and visit and see how Pickwick could be just your favorite pub with its pleasant environment and warm service. See you!
