This is a restaurant in the in the Stockholm City Hall, the venue of the Nobel Price dinner. This means that you can order the very same menu as last year Nobel Price dinner. This is what we did. It was a number of extremely complicated and very beautiful dishes. The entree was some kind of a very advanced sushi,... More

A Christmas dinner that surprised us positively through all the different "plates". Besides the food, this place had good service and an environment that made the evening a success.

I came to this restaurant with my work's Christmas dinner. It was a traditional Swedish "Christmas Table". I am English so it was a very different experience to an English Christmas dinner but very enjoyable. There were a vast range of dishes and our Swedish hosts explained to us how we should work through the buffet moving from herring, to... More

The room is very beautiful but not very cosy. The atmosfarere is very relaxed and quite. We really apreciated that it was extremely easy to talk to each other copared to most other restaurants. The service was very friendly. However they was not that knowledgeable about wine. The menue is quite short, but the wine list is long. We ordered... More

In the cellar of the Stockholm stadshus you find a very calm and nice environment where they serve good food with great taste. Since it is a cellar it is the perfect for hiding from the sun ir rain.

The setting in the cellar is very quaint, the place is calm and the food is good. Not obvious to spot for tourists, which is great ;)

In the cellars of the City Hall, you will find this restaurant where you can try the food served at the Nobel prize dinner. I really think it is worh the money, since you will eat excellent food on the plates used on the 10th of December. The price includes food, wine, mineral water and coffee. In addition, we had... Go to the Statehouse and take the tour, see the great hall where the Nobel Prizes are given out. Then go to the streetside and find the small door that takes you down to the Cellar Restaurant. It's beautiful, ancient, and the food is wonderful. You'll feel like a prize winner yourself. Check online to see when they are having... More

If you're curious to know what's been served at the Nobel Prize banquets down the years, then you should head for Stadshuskllaren ? a restaurant in the basement of Stockholm town hall, which hosts the annual ceremony. You can choose between any of the Nobel menus since 1901. Stockholm's town hall, with the three golden crowns on its tower, has become a national and international symbol for Stockholm and Sweden. It contains the exquisite banqueting halls, Gyllene Salen (the Golden Hall) and Bl Hallen (the Blue Hall). Restaurang Stadshuskllaren has seating in its own fine dining room as well as the so-called Eldqvarn room. There's also the Sknkrummet room for guests who prefer quieter surroundings. As well as the Nobel menus and the Swedish inspired main menu, the restaurant also serves party menus, a traditional Swedish Christmas buffet and a spectacular seafood buffet in the autumn.
