We were taken here by our Swedish relatives during our recent visit. A very innovative idea to choose a number (three, five, or seven) of courses from a menu of around 15, and to opt for matching wines for each course. Described in more detail...More

At an ugly place hidden in front of a parking garage in an 80-ies house that looked new a couple of years ago. Interior that tries to remind you of the eighties again. So why go here.? The answer is obvious. FOOD. This might be...More

Smak offers an interesting and quite delicious dinner menu. You are offered a list of 15 small plates (20 including the desserts), each titled with a major flavor, and subtitled with, I guess you could say a culinary style. For instance, one of my favorites...More

Their concept is based on Melker Andersson's (part owner) menu, whereby you are given 4 or 5 main ingredients or "tastes" instead of a full description and then you are left to your own imagination when chosing. We opted for a 5 course tasting menu...More

A wonderful selection of small dishes based on taste themes. There were so many interesting ones it was hard to choose. The wines paired with the dishes were well selected and could be ordered in tasting glass size so you got just enough for the...More

Smak på Restaurangen is located in Stockholm city centre, just a stone's throw from Hötorget. The concept is all about flavours, where you are given three choices - three, five or seven small dishes in which the influential flavor gives its name to the dish. You simply make your order by circling your choice on the menu. The same goes for wines and other beverages, which are also available in smaller tasting glasses, all to give you the possibility to try as many flavours as you wish. Smak på Restaurangen is part of the famous Group F12.
