Amazing cinnamon buns and great coffee - grab a quick fika fix here. Lovely staff and decor. Note that this is a small chain and therefore a couple of Vete-Katten places around the city - flagship one was rammed but a smaller shop near the...More

We visited Vetekatten on our last afternoon in town after realising it was less than a five minute walk from our hotel, Frey's. On arrival, we had to queue for about twenty minutes and kept toying with getting takeaway (different queue & a ticket system)....More

We had lovely cinnamon pastries and coffee, really enjoyed them! The place is old fashioned and full of character - worth a visit!

If you never have been to Vetekatten (The Wheat Cat) café you really must. It is old-fashioned, rather large and noisy. The latter is one of the reasons we only go there if we are in the neighborhood.

I really do not understand the hype about this place. In the inside it looks beautiful and very classy and I like that however the pastries arent above average and same goes for coffee. While we were having our fika there was a lady buying...More

I found this cafe on a local website as o I like cafes with character. We had their toasted sandwiches which come with tea or coffee. Really big portions and delicious coffee. The cafe itself is beautiful with an old original tiled chimney and red...More

This is like being in a Swedish tv series. The ambiance and setting is great and so is the Fika (pastry) Cinnamon, cardamom and lots of other flavours can be enjoyed in the pastry. Next time when in Stockholm will definitely go there again!
