One of the things I enjoyed the most about Stockholm was fika. I loved going to Vete-Katten and trying all the traditional Swedish pastries they have. I had coffee with Semla, a cinnamon roll and some kind of raspberry tartlet (I don't remember the name). All of them delicious! For me, the best was Semla since it was totally new... More

We had a lovely lunch in this traditional cafe. We had toasted sandwiches followed by a spectacular princess cake which was particularly enjoyable. There was lots of choice on the menu so it was hard to pick!

It is worth to try one of the desserts here. If you arrive early they have a good variety, they sell out by the end of the day. They packed my dessert in a pretty box, very presentable.

The place was packed when we got there, but the pastry and hot chocolate was worth the wait for available seats :)

One of the best places to have typical Swedish fika: cafe/tea and sweets in Stockholm. This place is working from 1920-x and here you can feel the atmosphere. Great variety of cakes (typical samla is among them) and of course famous shrimp sandwich. Really recommend to visit.

This is a classic cafè/Bakery shop displaying all kind of nice pastries, sandwiches to either eat on spot or take away. You can refill your coffee as many times you want and it is really nice strong flavour coffee. I had a muffin but kept seeing people eating next to me a very nice pastry with cream which later I... Went there to taste the traditional Semla. The place is cute and different, but it may be difficult to find a table. The selection of pastries was amazing and both my semla and my espresso were really good.

Brilliant bakery coffee shop but busy but loads of local atmosphere. Incredible cakes and coffee. Not that expensive.

Hey, Vete-Kattenis a beautiful and central swedish patisserie and bakery, the Staff wears traditional servant cloathes. Vete-Katten is in the backyard but easy to find, it´s not fath big but if you wait you´ll alwas find a place to sit. The Stuff is friendly, but you have to buy your cake at the counter, no service at the table. We... More
