Since they changed the owner the ice cream isn't that good anymore. We have to look for another ice cream factory in Stockholm.

Tastes like any generic brand from the supermarket. Not flavourful at all, and there are much better ice cream and gelato places here in Stockholm. Save your money or go somewhere else.

Almost half of the ice creams offered were vegan. A sign above one of the coolers said that "this whole section is vegan and free of any kind of dairy". Hurray!! My favourite was the saffran sorbet.

Went to this ice cream shop after seeing it recommended by a vegan blogger as a place with lots of vegan options -- there was even more than I'd expected! An entire 1/2 of the flavors offered were vegan, and not just your standard fruit sorbets and almond milk chocolate.

Came across this ice cream parlor while walking back to the Hilton after exploring Sodermalm. Asked for an extra thick chocolate shake and that's exactly what we got; super chocolately too. Very friendly staff and very clean. Would definitely go back.

I have been waiting for a warm summer day to buy some ice cream frim this place. Have been passing by for almost 6 months (it wasn't open yet!) and wow wow wow. They have by far, one of the best ice cream shops in Södermalm. Do try the beer one! Excellent!

Smooth delicious ice cream in many flavours - Just perfect for a warm summer afternoon. The flavours range from the traditional like hazelnut to the rare like the highly recommended Apple spirit. The waffle cones are freshly made - crispy and fragrant. Water is freely available and a few tables in the shop cater for those who'd like to savour... More

Lovely ice cream, both regular and dairy-free. My mother went back for seconds - she never does that!

I would pass on this place. I picked two scoops after falafelbaren and was disappointed. I would save room for another dessert place

The gelateria has moved to a new location with a bigger seating area and access directly from Hornsgatan in the middle of Södermalm. It has not lost any of its finesse and ability to serve well tasting ice cream of its own production. My favorite: Champagne sorbet

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
