This was one of the few places that was open when I went to Old Town a little before 11 AM. I had a margherita pizza and it was wonderful! It was very thin crust with a lot of cheese. The staff was kind and spoke enough English. The prices were very reasonable. One thing that I would note is... More

Without reservation, I just walked in with 20 people for lunch today. Fortunately , there were enough seat available for us just like I reserved it beforehand. I made 4 guests sit at each table and ordered 4 different menues 5 times so that we could all share together. 1 sea food pizza + 1 bolonais pizza + salad +... More

Stumbled upon this place after a very long day of walking and were treated to an amazing set of pizzas and a meat kebab combo. The owners speak less English and more Spanish, but were very cheerful. Prices were reasonable considering the average rates we noticed in Stockholm for food. The place is also located very close to the Gamla... More

Big centre in old town Stockholm. I came across the restaurant from walking 30 seconds from the t-bana (granla stan). There was a happy hour between 11am and 2pm. I got a pizza (limited options ) and a can of Fanta for 80 Swedish kroner. The pizza was quite big and tasted good There is free wifi available. Ordering in... More

Small pizzeria with seating for about 10-14. . Order at the counter and it is really more like a coffee shop. No charm or interest and the pizza was very average. Staff did not really speak or understand English and made little to no attempt at service or assistance. Keep looking.

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
