A vintage, quiet an typically Swedish restaurant with the classics. A great place for a quality lunch or dinner. Really good service.

It isn't located on a main street, and that was wonderful. It is a quiet restaurant, just local people who know well where to eat. I sat close to the window; the waitress received me with a big smile. I chose one of the meals...More

I had dinner here last week with a couple of friends. We had booked in advance and got a rather nice table. The waiter started out quite ok, though with a slightly arrogant touch right from the beginning. The menu was ok but nothing special....More

KB or KonstnärsBaren or KonstnärsBuffén has it all. Fine dining, an excellent bar and art and some more art. An evening at KB will make you happy, all through. One of the few places where you actually even have a good time alone. Because it...More

This is a very nice restaurant on a side street just off (and I mean just off -200 feet or so) Stockholm's fanciest shopping street. I though the food was excellent: I had hake (a lovely fish from colder salt-water) and an excellent South African...More

Went here for dinner with friends. This place serves traditional Swedish favorites like meatballs, different types of herring, salmon & steak tartar, in an atmosphere similar to the restaurants Pelikan & Tranan which are also Stockholm establishments. I started with the shrimp & caviar toast,...More

Despite being a single diner without a reservation, I was treated attentively by the staff. The food is not cheap, but considering the location it's not unreasonably expensive, and the menu features two relatively inexpensive traditional Swedish main dishes of the day (both less than...More

My husband, mother-in-law, and I visited KB for our first dinner in Stockholm, and we absolutely adored the restaurant. Both the host and our server were incredibly charming, and we all felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the meal. The restaurant had a nice...More

Description
Since 1931, KB Restaurant and Bar has been a regular haunt of artists and actors who have left their mark on the design, décor and walls of the restaurant. The tradition continues with an ever changing exhibition by today's artists. Situated a stone's throw from Norrmalm's Dramaten and theatre district, KB Restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Swedish fare as well as dishes with a non Swedish influence. There is an extensive wine list from both Europe and the New World. Also a long list of whiskies and Swedish liquors.
