Their Sunday dinner is extremely attractively priced and all courses are of very good quality. Look for the Sunday menu on their website. Friendly staff with lots of humour. Great selection of drinks. I highly recommend the place, especially for Sunday dinners.

We had a nice meal and we treated well by the staff. It is a popular location. We found many Swedish adults eating here . Good food and reasonable prices by Swedish standards. We are returning this May for our wedding anniversary.

Booked a table for dinner and we were seated right away. The waiter was friendly and they had a great selection of beers. The food was OK but I'm not convinced it warrants the current TripAdvisor ranking - we had much better meals in other places during our stay. Might pay to go a bit further off the beaten track!

Having walked past this restaurant several times, we pre-booked dinner here and were not disappointed. Prices for both food and wine were reasonable by Swedish prices. There was a good choice of main courses, well cooked and served. I had read that it could be quite noisy but this was not our experience. Service was prompt and friendly.

We ate here twice for dinner in late February 2017, and were not disappointed either time. Our first visit followed the Free Tour Stockholm "Old Town." The Pytt I Panna (a Swedish hash-like dish) and the Home made Deer meatballs hit the spot along with their house brand bottled beer. Service was excellent in a homey, warm, small beer hall... More

We stopped here for a bite to eat at lunch. They have a set menu each day of the week for you to choose from. I had the rib eye steak which was listed to come with mash potato, so was a bit disappointed when it arrived with chips. And the butter which accompanied the steak was rock hard and... More

We chose this place for dinner on our weekend trip to Stockholm because we wanted to try and get away from the overtly touristy eateries and get some "real" Swedish meatballs and other foods. The Bla Dorren had good reviews online and seemed to meet all of our requirements (and was not too far from where we stayed at the... More

Eat outside on the front porch - the views of the old city are wonderful. Although it is historic, the interior seemed a little fake. The salmon appetizer was terrific; the traditional meat hash, pytt i panni, was nothing special. Great draft beer selection.

I had way too many beers in this Södermalm beer hall/restaurant. But it was worth it. For dinner I got moose with lingonberry jam and mashed potatoes. Just mind-blowing. The service was atrentive and fun. Very popular place during after-work time.

One of the few still available traditional Swedish "Ölhall" restaurant where you can enjoy traditional good Swedish food and beer to a decent price.

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
Slussen
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
