The restaurant is so lovely. Really relaxed atmosphere, lovely rose wine and excellent bread and butter (I know it's a simple thing, but this place really made a lovely effort with it). It's expensive in my opinion, but I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Stockholm for traditional Swedish fare who are happy to spend a little more than... More

We visited the place a week ago. The entrecote steak was very very good. The cheek was nicely cooked and soft as you may expect the sauce was not that amazing for our taste. The place is very noisy and crowded.people are constantly shoring and laughing. Service was good enough nothing extra ordinary. Desert was average and acceptable. The chocolate... More

Fast professional service. Absolutely delicious fish stew, my colleague thoroughly enjoyed his pork sausage and fine chips. Very fresh and tasty rolls. Faultless. Great hubbub and atmosphere. We sat at the bar. Only thing I'm not that keen on is high bar stools, rather meant you fell into your plate but it's only a minor annoyance. I'll go again and... More

We had an 8 hour layover in Sweden and decided to explore the city for a bit. We were looking for some sort of Swedish cuisine, and stumbled upon this place. this was the best meal I had in Europe, and it was just a layover (we went to Paris, all over Ireland, and the Amalfi Coast in Italy). The... More

Apart from 'the crabs'; soft shelled fried crabs with a tiny amount of meat, the food was good. Try the signature dish of ox cheek with an amazing sauce. a buzzing spot, not cheap but generally good.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
