An old greek taxi driver adviced me this restaurant, you may find the menu on the internet, lamp chops were very delicious with spices on it, also there was cacik, pea and potatoes. But it is a little hard to find

Less expensive than other Greek restaurant in the area. The waiter was very friendly, didnt mind us being there until closing time. (even offered us coffee on the house!)

The place is nice and the staff were very helpful to adjust the food following intolerances etc. It got a bit loud later in the evening. The portions are huge and non of us could finish the main dish. Prices ok.

We went there with a couple of friends. The menu is kinda small but offers some great foo. The portions are big enough for someone that's eating a lot. The outside area is a great sport for a summer evening. I don't know if I'd return as I need metaxa sauce and gyros at a Greek place which they didn't... More

An excellent Greek restaurant in a good place. The menu is long enough and the atmosphere is great. This is a family restaurant in every positive meaning. Service is thoughtful and prices are affordable. Portions are big and you will lose your hunger very comfortably.

Ate an early dinner/late lunch here on a very warm summer day with my sister, brother, sister-in-law. We all chose different menu items and all the portions were very generous and good. The moussaka was well prepared and tasty. The chicken and beef dishes were also quite good. All washed down with beer it was a good meal. Easy walk... More

In my circle of friends, Kamarina used to be our favourite Greek restaurant. Which means, we ate here a lot. But lately, the food have been lacking that extra something. It's still good and at great value, but nothing special anymore.

One of the very first Greek restaurants to open in Stockholm, I believe. On paper they offer tradiational Greek dishes, but the vegetarian platter I ordered as a main was FAR too salty (who'd put salt on already salty halloumi?) and the tsatsiki, taramosalata and mashed aubergine tasted and looked mayonnaisy. i.e. bought. Not traditional, not home-made. The taramasalata (which... More

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
