I have had dinner here 2 times. The staff are friendly and the food is offered in generous portions. Their schnitzel is the best in town!

This is a very rustic restaurant with kind ladies almost like the ones that will serve you in a German bierhalle. Their premier dish is various versions of schnitzels, and they are both huge and really great tasting, don't worry about leaving hungry from this restaurant. They also have a nice assortment of beers. And even is the schnitzels are... More

Brilliant well-made authentic atmosphere, food and epic selection of austrian beer and wine. The friendliest owner and staff. We are furthermore regulars and will always come back. Recommend everyone to pay Moldau a visit.

This restaurant is mostly visited by locals and regulars. Their speciality is schnitzel which can be ordered in different ways. For example veal or pork. You can also select the side dish, the czech potato sallad is to die for. Now, this isn't a fake Austrian restaurant, it's the real deal. Our waitress, friendliness second to none, spoke German. Normally... More

Dreadful interior. ugly restaurant. Nice service. Order just one thing, Wienerschnitzel. Skip everything else. Order a beer to go with that. Tada you are done.!

Saying that they serve the best schnitzel in Stockholm isn't really saying much since Stockholm isn't really a schnitzel town. It is a really good schnitzel though by any standard. My favorite is the chicken schnitzel but they do a really good Wienerschnitzel as well. The Czech potato salad is very tasty but so is just about everything else on... More

Be sure to book a table because this place is always packed - and rightfully so! The schnitzels are awesome and the potato salad - both with mayo and without - are just as delicious. The plates are huge too so wash it down with a large Stiegl and you'll need to grab a taxi home because the food coma... More

A solid Central European tavern on the south side of Stockholm. Loaded with schnitzels. And beers and wine to go with it. Friendly, uncomplicated restaurant. Located in the small town project called Bergsunds strand, close to Hornstull.

Excellent, I keep on coming back. Kind service and genuine food. Quite pricy but well worth it. Spartan localities, small amenities but overall very good experience. Surprised to find a place like this in Stockholm.

Staying in Hornstull & Langholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Hornstull & Langholmen
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
