Vi vill att våra gäster ska få uppleva det vi passionerat tror på. Bra och vällagad mat. Det kan låta banalt men det är så enkelt. Här på Stångs utgår vi från råvarorna när vi lagar vår mat. I had a four course dinner at Stångs Magasin on Good Wednesday 2023, and it was sublime. The impressions of taste comes out of products of local origin, and as the sensations line up, it is a great pleasure to learn from where the ingredients come. You are very well looked after, and to complete the experience, the setting in an old mill building with the evening view of the bridge across the river makes the visit unforgettable. I should add that the choice of local excellent beers, as well as the very interesting selection of wines, rest in my heart.

Nice place by the water in an old fashioned building. Interior is cozy and the terrace opens towards the water. If the weather is good/warm the terrace must be especially nice. Parking tickets needed round the clock (enough space next to the restaurant).
Service was pleasant. 5 course menus available and a la carte ofcourse as well. We picked from the a la carte, dishes looked good and tasted as well. Prices I guess pretty ordinary. Clientele mainly 40-60 year old couples and some groups. Maybe best known place to have dinner on a saturday eve for locals of certain age?
Cant think of anything to be changed or improved based on our experience, all in all a good place for a family dinner or a romantic one. Probably best to book in advance (…as everywhere in Sweden I suppose..)

Located by the river "Stångån" this restaurant has a wonderful outdoor seating. We sat on the "bridge" next to the water. Very nice as it was an unusual hot evening in Linköping. Food and service was top notch. You can not ask for more. Everything is locally produced. We are coming back.

Had the 4 course menu with wine pairing and it was all very tasty. Brought friends from France and they too enjoyed the experience. Wine pairing was excellent and the service just perfect. Our table was by a window phasing the river so the view was very nice as well.
Highly recommend this restaurant and it is top 2 in Linkoping!

6 course set dinner with wine package at New Years Eve was a fantastic experience. The food was well prepared, tasty and looked beautiful. The wines really elevated the flavours.
Service was efficient, friendly and taking into account the pace of each table.
We left very full and happy and are looking forward to coming back in 2022.
The venue is very nice and they had made an effort to space out the tables.

We had dinner as a group with some business colleagues and everything was excellent.
The prawn toast is just the perfect balance of creamy sauce and a little heat. Most of us had the strip steak and others had the fallow deer. The meat was well prepared and the server took the time to explain not only how the dish was prepared but also the sides that came with it. Our sommelier produced some great wines for dinner and everyone left very satisfied.
The restaurant is located on the bank of the river and it just creates an overall relaxed ambience. I would 100% recommend you visit

Went here for dinner. Cosy location, Great food with lots of local specialities and ingredients used. Really warm, welcoming and antendant staff. Great suggestions for wine

The food is amazing. Been to this restaurant a few times. Although this time we had to wait 45 mins for 3rd course and additional 45 mins for dessert. Staff are friendly but not as friendly as usual.

In this time of covid-19 the restaurant had an limited menu but the 5 course menu pack was well put together with local ingredients. All servings tasted well and the main course had a superb meat that was tender and went well with the suggested red wine

The food and drinks here are great. It is close-to-perfection every time. The non-alcoholic beverages are also spot on, which we sincerely enjoyed. We will come back several times again.

Once per year i enjoy this restaurant and everytime i consider it an "experience" .. also this year i was here alone for a dinner.
Fantastic atmosphere during Christmas time, a tasteful buffet !!!

This restaurant has great views on the river. Reservation for our party of 5 was easy. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a variety of fish, meat and veggie dishes. Great wine selection.
Al dishes were done very well and presented in a very pleasant way.

Ałl local products. And a Wine package that was choosen to this meny.
I have to say it was cook to perfaction Evert thing was perfect taste and THE Platen design very Beautiful.
