Cosy atmoshere and homemade great tastes for a light lunch or at coffe time. Especially, sour dough roll with brie, walnuts ant honey can be recommemded, or the no-waste-soup of the day, but also a great selection of down-to-earth pasteries.
French bakery i the basement, lovely pastry in the coffee shop. Inviting atmospher makes you want to stay long. always crowded, be prepared to wait for a table!
Welcoming atmospere, good range of pastries baked on site, possible to buy bread ao in a separate shop. Lots of students and parents with baby carriages. Excellent coffe. Friendly staff.
Really nice place in the center of Linköping. Homemade bread, buns and paistries. Also nice for a lighter lunch. Good coffe and tea. Moderatly priced.
Very nice setting. The food is very good. The bread, buns and cakes are made on site and they are soo good. There are a few tables outside in the little garden. Highly recommended.
Combining the essence of Swedish modern fika and coffee culture with traditional pastries but leaving room for experimentation. All of it with a lot personal charm and touch. A must if you are looking for the best fika experience in Linköping.
Frequented place, always a lot of people. This is not your large chain, mainstream café but gives you a feeling of sitting in someone’s dining room have home baked cookies and coffee. They also have lighter foods for lunch. It is not on one of...the main shopping streets but just 4-5 min walk from the main square and well worth the detour.More
Located in an old church, the atmosphere is really charming. They have a brunch option and they function as a bakery aswell, so there is always fresh sourdough bread to go with your soup.
English menu available. Perfect place for breakfast (plenty of cakes, biscuits, bars and pastry available) but also for lunch (paninis, veggie burgers and salads). Great for vegetarians/vegan. Free wi-fi, nice garden outside with plenty of seats and even a bigger space inside. A bit hidden...if you don't know about it so look it up! The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. I had a cappuccino and a small sandwich with brie, walnuts and honey. Staff is very friendly and nice. Best place I tried in my week here in Linkoping.More
A bit of the main streets this old church offers an special atmosphere. really good coffee and cakes.
Here I had the most perfect pain au chocolate of my own life: crispy, buttery, perfection. It's a bit pricey, even for swedish standards, but it's hard to find a better selection of pastries for breakfast in Linköping. They also run a high quality bakery...worth a try.More
Can't say enough how much I liked Babettes. The coffee was excellent and the bread was AMAZING! Comfy and cute interior, and an adorable patio for when it's nice out. Highly recommend coming here. I wish it was in my town!
As a tourist to Linkoping for the week I wanted to find somewhere that had more of a local feeling than the main street. Babettes offers just that. It is spacious inside, with plenty of tables spread around the bottom floor of a house. The...layout offers a neat, comfortable diversity to the floor plan. You can sit alone facing out a window to do some work using the free wifi, sit on couches and drink coffee to your hearts content, or sit at a larger table to enjoy some good food. The interior shows individual attention, and the multitude of large windows provides a light, warm feeling. If I was around for longer I would look forward to returning.More
I really didn't like this place. The coffee was bad. The regular coffee was old and probably brewed several hours ago. The latte, was really bland. The paistries were generally dry. Probably cause they had been on display all day. The buns were badly seasoned....For example had the cardamombun such a strong taste of sugar and cardamom, that it was almost a burning senation in the mouth. The turkey sandwiches only had one small slice of turkey. Really really thin. And the salad on it, was a store bought saladmix, so the sandwich had ruccola salad on it. That salad doesn't mix well with turkey. Overall was the sandwiches were weirdly composed and dry, with mostly bread on them. No, this place was bad. It was like the if the neighborhood kids had started a cafe for fun. Im sorry, but I can't lie.More
