Delicious food! It was pricy but worth it! We had fun trying to figure out what was in their 'black magic' sauce served with the langoustine and even passed notes through our waitress to the chef to guess his secret ingredients! He never caved ... and we are left still wondering! Would certainly return if ever in the region again!

It was pricey but well worth the experience! You don't get to eat Langoustine everyday. We had langoustine pizza, some duck dish which was so soft and had a mild sweet taste, some salted fish salad which was the best salad I've ever had! Don't be afraid if you don't want to pronounce some strange words in the menu because... More

We had a choice between two popular restaurants in town and chose this because some folks on our tour group didn't have positive reviews about the other restaurant. The langoustine at this restaurant was delicious. Fresh, sweet and tasty. The bread was also delicious, as is most bread in Iceland. The wait staff was attentive, professional and friendly. Really pleased... More

We felt we just had to get the langoustine while in Hofn, so we came here. The restaurant is nice enough and the food was good, but honestly, it was just so overpriced in hindsight. I am from the US and eat lobster often and it costs a fraction of this. The langoustine were no better than average lobster and... More

Loved this restaurant! Langoustine was cooked to perfection. The staff were warm & friendly. One of our best experiences dining in Iceland.

We checked in at the Hofn hotel for the night on 10/2/16 and we couldn’t wait to get out and have something to eat. The only reason I write reviews for TriAdvisor is that I value the contribution that others make and rely on them to make choices wherever I travel. Very rarely I get disappointed when I search for... More

All food in Iceland is pricey but this is worth it. The langoustine was lovely - all 3 of us had the langoustine tails for the main course. We also had the asparagus starter which was amazing. I will come back here for sure!!

The langoustine bisque and langoustine baguette were the best combo to order (in my opinion anyway) as you seemed to get the most for the money. In the end, I don't believe you can go wrong with anything on their menu.

We tried the langoustines with duck and lamb here. Langoustines were very fresh and lamb very tender with delicious crispy skin. Warm service from a Swedish waiter impressed us. We had a better experience here compared with Pakkhus Restaurant.

First time trying langoustine (Norway lobster) and it was great. Salted cod was good but lobster bisque was okay. Friendly staffs. The price was a little pricy but can't help :)
