We had the langoustine pizza and the tails, I would highly recommend this if you are passing by Hofn! Left satisfied and my boyfriend was still raving about it on our way home. Great service as well!

Today we had dinner in this restaurant to try the famous Langoustine in Iceland! There are 10 people in our group and all of us ordered Langoustine! There are different prices for Langoustine and it is found the heavier weight with lower price (450g Langoustine cheaper than 300g) Why? In fact, 300g without the shell but 450g including shell! The... More

THE Best best best meal i have ever had in Iceland. and the BEST LANGOUSTINE. order the langoustine soup for the best servings and chunks of langoustine meat, sweet tasting soup. Skip the pizza and go straight to the Langoustine (small) as they are so juicy, sweet tasting and the most fresh langoustine i have ever tasted. It is so... More

We spent 9 days in Iceland and this is the only restaurant we came back to twice. The langoustines are to die for. I wouldn't bother with anything else, just order langoustine tails and enjoy how they are grilled to sweet juicy perfection. You don't even need their sauces, they are perfect on their own. I'm not a big eater... More

When in Hofn, you must eat at this restaurant. They offer many different dishes with langoustine (baby lobster) and other seafood. We tried the langoustine bisque, langoustine banquette, and salted cod. All dishes were delicious. The service was very good. It is a tad on the expensive side, but Iceland isn't known for inexpensive food.

Delicious food! It was pricy but worth it! We had fun trying to figure out what was in their 'black magic' sauce served with the langoustine and even passed notes through our waitress to the chef to guess his secret ingredients! He never caved ... and we are left still wondering! Would certainly return if ever in the region again!

It was pricey but well worth the experience! You don't get to eat Langoustine everyday. We had langoustine pizza, some duck dish which was so soft and had a mild sweet taste, some salted fish salad which was the best salad I've ever had! Don't be afraid if you don't want to pronounce some strange words in the menu because... More
