We found that pretty much anywhere we went out to eat in Iceland was expensive. While this place was a little more so, it also had better food than most other places we tried. Known for their seafood, they didn't disappoint. It is an old house that has had many occupants over its history. They have tastefully decorated it. I... More

I ate here for both lunch (fish soup) and dinner (fish skewers) and both were nice but not amazing - had expected more given the other ratings. The staff were friendly and in the evening were having a leaving do for the owner's son, so lots of laughing going on. They open late (10pm) which is good if you're out... More

Hands down the best food we have ever eaten. I cannot even begin to describe how tasty and moreish the langoustines were. And the fish soup - definitely best in Iceland. If you are in Husavik - this place is a must!

The restaurant is situated right outside our guesthouse so we decided to give it a try. The fish soup as a starter was very good! The salmon and lamb skewer as main course were delicious and accompanied with bread, salad and potatos. Overall tastey but pricy as everything in Iceland.

Small family run restaurant, limited menu, very tasty. We had 3 different meals and all beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Fresh ingredients.

We went here for lunch and had the soup. The service was quick, the food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic. We went back for dinner and it was equally good. The restaurant has flair and they take pride in preventing excellent food. If the service is slow it is because everything is cooked fresh.

Best fish soup in Iceland (and that's saying something as we tried the fish soup everywhere we stopped)! Atmosphere, food and prices all very good.

It was a very nice seafood restaurant. We had really delicious salmon and some great fish soup. It is cosy and well decorated restaurant. It was a bit quiet when we were there with 4 kids and we were a little anxious if we were bothering the others, but it did not turn out to be a problem.

Nice and not-so-turisty place in Husavik, a bit further from the harbour. Unsurprisingly, they specialise in fish and seafood. We had some fish soup and plokkfisk (mashed fish with potatos and onions), which were not bad, but the best dish was a selection of 3 mini staters: a warm miniature bagel with smoked salmon, a bite of shrimp cocktail and... Amazing restaurant in small fish town. Nice building, vintage navy decoration (not too heavy), good service and nice people, nice atmosphere and most important great dishes! Loved it. Great fish soup and grilled fish dishes.
