Small restaurant side by side with The Noodle House. Same owners. Kra Thai does take out and has a few tables so we dined in. We ordered and the food was served fresh and in under ten minutes. My husband ordered the chicken noodle soup which was wonderful. Great broth! It was huge - a meal in itself. I had... More

We were originally going to Mai Thai which is attached the a Thai grocery, but it was closed and we ended up here by default. Why Thai in Iceland? Because that serious craving for Thai and a rice dish kicked in. We ordered Red Curry and what seemed to just be Chicken Fried Rice and 100 regret going here during... More

Lovely staff looked after us throughout. We demolished some tasty thai curries which were very reasonably priced too.

Rather good Thai food. Casual restaurant well located in the principal street going up to the Hallgrimskirkja church.

We got take away from here and really enjoyed our food. The portions were extremely generous and the food was reasonably priced for Iceland. The wait for take away wasn't too lengthy.

Krua Thai is a little shining gem in a city of expensive and often bland food options! The food is amazing, the portions are large, the people are friendly, and the price is great. We stayed in a nearby apartment and wished we had discovered it earlier in our stay in Reykjavik. My son wants to return to Iceland just... More

We visited after reading the many good reviews on Trip Advisor - this is primarily a takeaway but has a few tables where you can sit and eat. The food was freshly prepared and arrived within minutes. No frills surroundings but the food was delicious. We paid about 5,000 krona for 3 generous meals. Would recommend.

Icelandic food isn't a great taste for Asians... for Asians who're longing for slight taste back home after several days of eating bread and meat... this place is totally recommended... The noodle soup is one of the best I've tasted... I'm definitely coming back if I ever visited Iceland again! Cheers to Thai food..

We read reviews about this place prior to going to Iceland - and it did not disappoint. We were hungry so ordered two bowls noodle soup, two mains - well they were massive when they came, in fact the lovely guy that served us came to us before bringing the food to say if there was only two we probably... Drove up to have a taste of it since review was pretty good. However, there isn't anything authentic about. Price is reasonable as the portion is quite big. It's mainly for angmoh that never try true authentic Thai cuisine. But i wouldn't recommend it at all.
