I am saddened to have to write this review. My daughter and I were given recommendations from one of the tour shops that the food at Saegreifinn - The Sea Baron was great in lieu of it being a very casual restaurant. The reviews on...More

Simple environment and service, however the best fish you could ever have. One soup and 2 sticks are more than enough to taste what Iceland is famous of. Also, the cheapest way to eat good fish in Iceland.

A quirky set up, and a lovely communal experience where we met and chatted to other tourists. We had the AMAZING Lobster soup and bread, and tried the Minke Whale which was surprisingly nice. Definitely give this little place a try!

This restaurant was such a great find. The fish is so fresh and so simply prepared (grilled). I ordered the big bowl of lobster soup. It was heavenly. I sat down at the wooden table by the door and indulged in this giant bowl with...More

This came highly recommended by locals as being good value for money. I was disappointed as I thought the setting and décor was of a café as opposed to a restaurant and we ended up sharing a table with complete strangers who eyed us with...More

It’s down at the Harbour - 5 mins walk from city centre and yes the offer soft drinks - if your kids like fish they will be fine - bench table saying and not fine dining but the best halibut I have ever had - so tasty ! Enjoy More

This just means they don't take reservations for parties of fewer than four people. There were only two of us, and it was no problem.
