The restaurant was next to my hotel. I had the lamb, recommended by the waitress, which was very nice indeed - as was the skyr dessert. The price was a bit steep from a mainland European perspective, but not exsessively so. Despite the fact that...More

We did go for dinner around 9pm on a Tuesday evening. Friendly reception, efficient staff service. Good choice of fish and meat mains. Open kitchen with small preparation time of your food. The mains are excellent: great taste, good portions with attention to presentation! Only...More

The food at this restaurant is excellent. And the prices, though expensive by US standards, were far better than any equivalent restaurant in Reykjavik. We were so surprised that it was not more crowded. Perhaps because it is considered a hotel restaurant?

Food was good quality and the price you expect to pay in Iceland. The fish was good and an encouraging start to a few days in the country.

We chose to eat here twice. The seafood was marvelous, esp the mussels and the seafood chowder, and the lamb appetizer was terrific. Also had a great dessert here. Prices are high, but they are all over Iceland.

Used this as our first night meal, lamb and cod were the mains ordered, the food was presented delightfully and was excellent. The only downside was that it was a Saturday night and it was almost empty when we visited. Plus it was quite expensive...More

Google Hotel Centrum Reykjavik. The restaurant will be listed in the "About Us" tab. Select "Fjalakotturinn" and scroll down. There you will see their menu. I, personally, recommend the Lamb Feast.
