We had a wonderful meal at Fisfelagid Fish Company. This was one of the best meals I've had, including those at Michelin rated restaurants. The service was superb, the wine was excellent, and the food was divine. The bread to start was served with delicious...More

Without a doubt, the most incredible dining experience. The presentation of each course was amazing. The night began with a complimentary chef serving of Tuna Tartar. The 3 seafood dishes that were ordered were all prepared to perfection! The 4th dish was the vegetarian Russian...More

This was our first experience of fine dining in Iceland, and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the setting comfortable and the seafood was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

My boyfriend and I attended the restaurant on our second evening and were not disappointed. The waiters and waitresses knew the food inside out - incredibly knowledge about the food pairings, techniques and origins of the food. They were also very welcoming. Service was top...More

Lovely restaurant right in downtown Reykjavik. Downstairs - do not confuse with Fish Market, nearby. Fine dinner - lamb done superbly and nicely presented by, I think, the chef. Very attentive, pleasant staff. Book if there on Friday or Saturday nights - everyone who lives...More

Walking into the old, stone building it's like entering a cave, but the feel is warm and inviting. Loved the softly lit moose with medals on his antlers. Our server, Rebecca, was lovely. She was friendly, attentive and just plain nice. The chef's amuse bouche...More

The Fish Company is a loud and crowded place. You find yourself talking to the person next to you because she is so close. The service was helpful and quite efficient. The best thing here is the fish. I had one of their standards--a plate...More

This is seven months late, but for those wondering, 1) Yes, they have a children's menu 2) We were seated next to a well-behaved 4 or 5 year-old at dinner time - no issues whatsoever.
