When I describe Iceland to people, I often say its like being on another planet. Partly down to the incredible scenery, but in this case it's because there's no other place on Earth I'd pay $16 for a simple bowl of noodles and call it a bargain. But this is a place where you can pay $60 for two very... More

Any dish on the menu you can be made vegan - choose your broth, veg and spice and they'll make you a bowl of fresh hot noodles. We chose 3 on the spice level which is about a hot on the Nando's scale. They also do takeaway boxes which is handy as the portions are massive.

Totally surprise how good everything tasted. Went with a larger group and wasn't expecting much. You don't much in terms of service or atmosphere, but noodle dishes were all amazing. Would recommend for a quick meal.

We loved this small Asian noodle restaurant. Some in our party of four had noodle soup and some opted for the noodles with a bit less liquid. All were very filling and tasty. The dishes had heat levels from zero to three, then skipped to six. I had the one and it was fine. My husband was afraid to venture... More

We may not be the most experienced noodle eaters but I do eat asian noodle soups every chance i get. This place was a haven on our first day in Reykjavik, arriving sick and so tired after no sleep on an uncomfortable flight. This cured us of everything. I believe husband had "Noodles for the soul" which was not a... More

Ex California native residing in Reykjavík. Personally ethnic food in general is a necessity for happy life. This place is perfect for what they offer. I've been dining here frequently since my wife discovered it while we were waiting for a table a different restaurant nearby. The smell alone wafting from this location was more than enough to peak our... More

Nudluskalin is a small place Skolavorostigur but had nice athmosphere. The staff recommended option C (Gwiddíáw Domm Kha) which was fantastic. Coconut base with enough spice and plenty of cilantro. I wanted to go there again one day but unfortunately they are closed on sundays.

Three types of noodles to choose. Very tasty. Lots of ingredients for a complex taste. Meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Good value especially compared to rest of Reykjavik! Small venue but more seating upstairs. Would visit again.
