Found this on trip advisor and realised it was a short walk from our hotel set in the beautiful grounds of the botanical gardens. We we're blown away by the food and setting it was my favorite meal in my whole time in reykjavik, the flavours and presentation were worthy of a Michelin star. Would highly recommend

We stayed in Reykjavik for 6 nights and came here twice. Would of came more but we were found this place at the end of our stay. The food is amazing and the staff super nice. One major bonus is locals eat here. We were so tired of eating in a restaurant full of (mostly american) tourists that we didn't... More

Lovely location inside the botanical gardens. Can sit "outside" within a green house. Nice coffee and cake. The trip adviser app incorrectly shows it as being closed. Popular with locals and also families. Nearby the petting zoo.

located within the botanical gardens next to the zoo (go if you are unfamiliar with farm animals, they do however have a couple caribou and seals); if you have children however there is an exceptionally awesome lil park located there (short 3 min walk from the cafe) with some rides and fun activities (some require tickets) . . as for... Set in the Botanical Gardens. Very busy when we went. Good coffee, nice selection of cakes. Pleasant, English speaking staff. Apple cake worth a try.

We were only in Iceland for a week, but I had to come back here twice for lunch. The veggie burger was spicy and substantial, the salmon salad was delicious and the sweet potato soup was to die for. All are served up with fresh salad leaves, wholemeal bread (which looks home-made) and other tasty accompaniments, often including some form... More

I came for buffet dinner with a group that had booked in advance. The food was good per se but we had to wait forever, and there was not enough of it, as everyone was starving. The price was steep enough, 1200 Ikr. for bottled beer! Hello! Not even served at the table. Coffee was supposed to be included but... More

It was cool and drizzly day to visit the gardens and the cafe was a perfect refuge with great lunch and afternoon cake & coffee/tea.

The café makes a great eating spot within the Botanical Garden. My brunch was delicious and ample, and the staff was helpful. The café is an attractive space both inside and outside as well.

Sun-dappled tables fill a greenhouse in the Botanic Gardens and spill onto a flower-lined terrace at this lovely cafe that specializes in wholesome local ingredients - some grown in the gardens themselves! Soups come with fantastic sourdough bread, and the snacks range from cheese platters with nuts and honey to pulled-pork sandwiches. Coffee and homemade cakes round it all out.
