The place is both classy and cozy. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly without being overly attentive. The visit was in every way enjoyable except for one issue which comes down to lack of communication between waiters and kitchen. When I order...More

Had a very good night in here. Service was good for a large group. Food especially good and obviously the beer flowing. Would definitely recommend this place as a must visit in Reykjavik.

8pm: 26/02/16 Skolabru is old fashioned because it kept the architectural history of the famous surgeon who built and owned it. That's what makes it special. If you want contemporary pared down surroundings, this isn't for you. Go elsewhere. Our second visit in two years....More

I'm not sure about the lamb having on lunch time but the offer for groups of three dishes is the most accessible, to the site of the restaurant is a lot of information about the full range of possibilities which offers chef.

Enjoy distinctly Icelandic food based on our Icelandic cultural heritage and local culinary traditions.
We offer also a wide variety of dishes from the international scene of fine dining. - Our Icelandic lamb together with our seafood dishes are among the things people like the most.
