I always come to this place the day before I leave Iceland. I love it there. There can be many people there and maybe not so easy to get in to but if you do then you are in for a threat. Maybe it’s not...More

The only hamburger joint I have been to, where I had to be seated, by a waiter! OK, got over that. Average hamburgers, square but very expensive. Felt like, when hamburgers got snobbish.

Dissapointing all around. Food wasn’t great, service was fine. Kinda in a weird spot. Had a lot of smoke inside the dining area.

Great burger served medium rare. The pickles were extra and were sweet not the dill kind. I gave myself away as an American by picking up the burger and eating with my hands. EVERYONE else was eating with a knife and fork and stared at...More

Tried this place with my wife. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very good with lot's of friendly girls serving. The burgers and fries are ok, not great but not bad either. After eating I started to feel really tired, kind of feeling...More

This must be one of the best places in town for burgers, are there are a lot on town. The menu give a wide choice of options to cater for most people, with beer or soft drinks also available. Note, at popular times of day...More

Billed as one of Iceland’s most loved restaurants, but we truly don’t understand why it was so packed. Outside of Iceland, this restaurant wouldn’t survive. Bored teenage servers stood round chatting while food went cold on the serving hatch counter. Long wait time both for...More

We enjoyed a delicious meal after a long day of walking. Whilst our initial waiter was a little disinterested in serving us, he was possibly at the end of his shift as he was soon replaced with a very friendly young lady who served us...More

Description
PLEASED TO "MEAT" YOU Ok. You're in Iceland. Probably not for the first time. Not something you do every year, right? You will probably bathe in the Blue Lagoon and take a road trip to Gullfoss and Geysir. That's all well and good. But neither is something you eat. That's why we have 15 brilliant and creative hamburgers at the Hamburger Factory. And they are all perfectly square. Made from 100% fresh high-quality ingredients, directly from Icelandic nature. The Hamburger Factory is Iceland's most innovative gourmet burger chain. Packed with burger-craving customers since its opening in 2010, among the regulars is Iceland's best known fisherman, Eric Clapton. We have three wonderful restaurants in Iceland. The mothership opened in 2010 on the groundfloor of the highest tower in Reykjavík, right opposite Höfdi house. Our second one is in Akureyri, the capital of the north. It opened in 2013 on the groundfloor of the historic Hotel Kea in the heart of the town's center. The third one opened in the spring of 2014 in Icelander's favorite shopping mall, Kringlan. Be sure to stop by before you leave. You will love it. And we will love you back. BE SQUARE AND BE THERE!
