i didn't discover this place until the last day, so... i went twice. once for hazelnut-pistachio, once for lime-blueberry, both on a waffle cone. yum. there were also crepes (including savory!) there which i didn't get to try but they looked authentic and yummy.

Don't let my title fool you! This place is yummy. I ate crepes for the first time in years. Oh, have I missed them. We actually went to this place twice. We were first drawn there by the delicious smells of crepes being made in the windows. The first time we went we had savory crepes. You can get whatever... More

We came across Eldur and Is while wondering around Reykjavik during the day. We decided that we would come back here for dessert later that evening. There were so many choices of flavour that it was so hard to choose. Once we had chosen, the ice creams didn't last long. They were delicious. We came back a second time, but unfortunately... More

I visited this icecream shop on 2 occasions. Even in the cold i still love icecream. The icecream here came in many flavours i chose the purple one which tasted great.. think it was blue berry icecream. Really will recommend this place to anyone who love icecrram.

We discovered this place on our last night in Reykjavik and decided to go all out: both savoury AND sweet. We were not disappointed in the slightest. The crepes were amazing and you could choose each individual item you wanted in them. A bit on the pricey side (but what isn't in Iceland) but that depends on how many fillings... More

This is a great spot for a sweet (or savory) snack. They have a wide variety of crepes or you can create your own with any of their ingredients. They have gelato as well! We found ourselves here numerous times on our trip!

A cosy little place just off the main street in Reykjavik which offered a good selection of crepes and ice cream. I went for a savoury and my boyfriend a sweet and both were great. Also great value for money in an expensive city!

Our shop sells CREPES, COFFEES and ICE CREAMS, with the possibility to blend them together with the unique flavour of Eldur og is, that means ... fire and ice. From the crepe's menu you may choose sweet or savoury, organic spelt or VEGAN, LACTOSE and GLUTEN FREE. The menu is "free"! Basically you choose your own ingredients from the list. We suggest you to try it with ice cream too. The coffees and the teas that we use are selected and roasted from Tea & kaffi, leader in Iceland for quality coffees. Personally I suggest you to try the Affogato al caffé, that is the perfect blend of the typical Icelandic character ... fire and ice. For Icelanders when you say ice creams, they are thinking Kjoris! Traditional family business, two generations old of ice makers working constantly on the quality of products and production. We are using their ice creams as solo or with our knowledge of blend them with hot crepes or coffees, giving a characteristic flavour of ... Eldur og is. Then we have few more options on hot chocolates, milk shakes and blizzards. Soon or later we will enrich our list of HEALTHY products, but that is our near future. For now accept and enjoy our service and variety of products to satisfy young and happy-mature people.
