Our family of four, including two daughters ages 14 and 11, enjoyed ice cream one evening while in Reykjavik at Eldur. The ice cream reminded us of gelato. All four flavors we tried were good. Prices were reasonable.

This café serves crepes with a variety of toppings. You can combine what you like or select one of the specialities. I ate a delicious ‘Autumn Delight’ crepe , very appropriate for a June day which felt like autumn. Don’t think too much about the...More

My sons and I stopped at Eldur on a cold and rainy day. The seating in the back was charming and very cozy. I ordered a banana and Nutella crepe, even though both boys said they were too full to eat anything. The minute they...More

Just had gluten free and dairy free crepes with dark chocolate, banana, peanut butter and coconut with a golden milk almond latte with honey. Unbelievable! Healthy yet delicious. I’m high maintenance and this place is phenom! Not for celiacs.More

Breakfast this morning was spent in the small but amazing Eldur and Is. Made to order spelt flour crepes were delicious - choose from a huge list of sweet or savoury options. Also gluten free/vegan friendly/lactose free crepes too! Coffee and hot chocolate were also...More

I had been looking all around Reykjavík to find Bragóarefur the ice cream. It was very good and I was surprised that the Icelandic ice cream was that good!

We didn't make it to the crepes, but the ice cream and hot coca, were really good. They had a raspberry and marshmallow that I wish existed where I live.

We stayed near the restaurant, and the being able to smell the crepes cooking was too hard to resist. The selection was great and grabbing a coffee complimented the snack perfectly! Definitely worth a visit.

Our shop sells CREPES, COFFEES and ICE CREAMS, with the possibility to blend them together with the unique flavour of Eldur og is, that means ... fire and ice. From the crepe's menu you may choose sweet or savoury, organic spelt or VEGAN, LACTOSE and GLUTEN FREE. The menu is "free"! Basically you choose your own ingredients from the list. We suggest you to try it with ice cream too. The coffees and the teas that we use are selected and roasted from Tea & kaffi, leader in Iceland for quality coffees. Personally I suggest you to try the Affogato al caffé, that is the perfect blend of the typical Icelandic character ... fire and ice. For Icelanders when you say ice creams, they are thinking Kjoris! Traditional family business, two generations old of ice makers working constantly on the quality of products and production. We are using their ice creams as solo or with our knowledge of blend them with hot crepes or coffees, giving a characteristic flavor of ... Eldur og is. Then we have few more options on hot chocolates, milk shakes and blizzards. Soon or later we will enrich our list of HEALTHY products, but that is our near future. For now accept and enjoy our service and variety of products to satisfy young and happy-mature people.
