We had seen mixed reviews about this place but decided to give it a try anyway. So glad we did! The food was excellent, tasty, piping hot and served very quickly. The restaurant is bright and cheerful with subdued lighting (not dark as some places can be). Prices are very reasonable for Reykjavik. Enjoyed the meal/evening immensely.

It is a medium sized restaurant but sadly it was lacking any atmosphere, everyone sat in silence eating their food, it could really have done with some soft ambient music to make the atmosphere a little less stark. The waiter was friendly enough and the food was reasonable but nothing stunning. I guess prices are average for Reykjavik but eating... More

There were problems in the kitchen, which meant that only a select number of dishes were available (about half of the menu), which was a letdown. The food we had though (little chicken and tofu rolls, and grilled chicken and rice) was fine. Nothing fancy, not superb, but tasty. Both the rolls and chicken were crunchy, and quite nice sauces... I had a lovely chicken noodle soup, just perfect , nice and hot . My partner had pork chops and rice, which was delicious. The price is reasonable too.

We've been here a couple of times and found it fairly good but perhaps we just got lucky then. This time I decided to try the pho, since presumably they know how to make it, and they claim their recipe was perfected over hundreds of years. It stated in the menu that the beef is cooked for 10 hours into... More

good food...prices are reasonable for expensive reykjavik. quick service, even at 9pm. I only wish they offered chili oil for the table. It could have elevated the meal to another level but this place was good.

The pho tasted just like the instant bowl of pho which is eh. They use the wide rice noodle which add a different taste to the soup. And $34 for 2 small (American) bowls and a coke. Waiter was fine for us but our neighboring table had some trouble completing their order.

Very close to Hilton and City Park hotel . Ideal if you can not go downtown. Food is OK but ambiance is lacking. Service not too friendly.

Felt like they had dumbed down the flavours to suit... Also the mains came whilst still eating starters so mains got cold. Sorry, I wasn't impressed.

Pho is one of the best restaurants in Reykjavík in my opinion. Not just for asian cuisine, it's just one of the best in town. Everytime I eat there, it fills me with joy. Everyone in the world should try this place at least once. Noodles, salads, spring rolls, summer rolls, won ton soup, their chicken is amazing.
