Great coffee, especially after a hike in the cold. The girls working there were very friendly and brought our coffee outside to us. We had apple pie with our coffee for $9.00, which was ridiculous, but not surprising for Iceland. It wasn't anything to brag...More
After walking up the mountain Esja, enjoying the great view in unbelievable weather, it was a real treat to have some lamb soup and a beer (or two) in Esjustofa restaurant when we came down. Great soup and the location is the same.

This little cafe at the bottom of Mount Esja has two very important things: good coffee and nice staff. They also offer free wifi access and the bathrooms are clean. What more could you want after a hike up and down a mountain?
