Perfect place to come directly from an early flight. Great food and perfect Icelandic hospitality and modern design.

This is the best bakery in the entire world. I would come all the way from England just for one of their sandwiches again. Their bread rolls filled with the most glorious ingredients are simply the best thing you can have whilst in Iceland. I came here everyday of my holiday and just in case you think I sound mad,... Wonderful little spot with excellent baked goods, great coffee shop and even take away sandwiches for lunch. Also have chocolate goods, jams, etc. Take credit cards and speak English

This bakery offers great tasting treats and bread, but are a little heavy on the wallet. Well worth it though, once in a while.

We walked here from the Hilton Nordica. Although it was not a bad walk, we definitely thought we were lost until all of a sudden we were there. It is located in a small strip mall at the edge of an entirely residential area. Inside it smelled delicious. It is a very small shop ($ close together tables), but the... More

I did not try any pastries, but I did pick up a chocolate cake for a dinner we were going to later that day. This cake did not disappoint, very rich and moist and pretty. The pastries all looked good as well as large, and there were also some handmade chocolate truffles. Worth a stop.

We were staying at a local hotel on a room only rate so were looking for somewhere to have breakfast. We found Mosfellsbakari around a 10 minute walk away and they open at 0730 so were ideal to eat at. There are only around 3 tables in the bakery as it is mainly a take-away and we saw a procession... My wife and I were hungry for breakfast and really wanted to try some Icelandic Pastries. We found this on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. They have something that looks like a black and tan cookie and it was really good. We tried several other pastries as well and everything was quite tasty.

It is always a delight to go to the Mosfellsbakarí bakery. The bread and cakes are exceptional. But do not miss their hand made chocolates. They are the best chocolates you can get in the northern hemisphere. The opportunity for a nice afternoon coffee and cake is not to be missed!

Thank Agustina T
