This was one of the few restaurants open early on a Sunday. We wandered in and the place filled up fast. Very European vibe, jazz playing in the background. We both had the eggs Benedict with salmon, really good. Also one of the best lattes...More

We had a very nice meal in a cozy restaurant that has great ambience and atmosphere. The food was tasty and, for Iceland prices, not as expensive as we expected. The restaurant is in the center of town of I highly recommend it.

This was one of the most delicious french onion soups I have ever tasted. The crouton covered the complete bowl and proved to be substantial. Good coffee and delicious hot chocolate with REAL cream.

Cafe Paris has great location in downtown Reykjavik, and since we were hungry for lunch, it was easy decision to go in. The place looks very comfortable. Service was bit down toned, but friendly and fast enough. Lunch menu is quite extensive, and we easily...More

An Icelandic Icon The Heart of Reykjavik City The spacious but intimate Café Paris is a café and a restaurant known for first-class service and bistro-style meals, primarily made using fresh local produce, in the heart of the city centre, Austurvöllur. Austurvöllur is Iceland?s Champ du Mars, where locals relax on warm summer afternoons, overlooked by the Icelandic Parliament, and the Dómkirkjan. Its long history and esteemed reputation has contributed to it being one of the most successful restaurants and cafés in all of Iceland.
