My partner and I decided to go for the set meal because we were a little suspicious of the fish buffet. The food was lovely. The lobster soup to start was delicious. Very expensive for what you got but the staff were really nice and the artwork on the walls was interesting. There is a Micro Bar downstairs which is... More

We ate here as part of one of the included dinners in our tour. It's a buffet style dinner. The selection isn't very big. Several seafood options. Nothing particularly stood out. Nothing was particularly bad either.

I am not usually a fan of buffets, but I've got to say this is one of the best buffets I've ever been to. I love seafood so maybe thats why. Great selection of seafood and local Icelandic dishes. The staff were very hospitable, the restaurant had a great atmosphere and the cost of the evening was surprisingly reasonable compared... More

Ate here with a group of 18. All pre-booked, set dinner. Worse than disappointing. The starter was edible which elevates this review from "terrible" to "poor".

We tried this after our hotel recommended it to us. Wasn't impressed at all with the choices - considering the price (expensive!) and that it's supposed to be a seafood place. Only liked the smoked salmon and the garlic ling, the mussels were small and overcooked. They had lamb as carving and although it tasted ok, it was cold and... More

Not our most favourite meal in Reykjavik. This was an average seafood buffet at a high cost. The starter was quite acceptable with a good selection. The main course was nothing to write home about because most dishes offered were only warm and the potatoes and vegetables were actually cold. Desserts were of poor quality and one of our group... Enjoyed this seafood buffet that offered soups, salads, cheeses, hot and cold dishes. Fortunately, everything is labeled, because I'm only a little daring, and some of the offerings were a bit beyond my level of adventure. Lots of salmon done in many ways, great fish variety, good breads, Cakes and 6 flavors of ice cream make nice options for dessert.... More

Went there and selected from the a la cart menu. Pork belly was without a crispy skin, main course fish was cold and beef was chewy. Duck apertiser was ok and bread excellent :-) Aimed for tourists... will not go again.

Came here for a business dinner and we had the buffet. Service was very good and the buffet plentiful and tasty. good choice of drinks and a nice venue for a large group.
