They offer an excellent buffet with lots of options including shark and whale. Lots of shellfish dishes along with herring, salmon and other fish.

We had our wedding reception here and have returned after 2 years for our 2nd anniversary. The food was amazing and as we are little picky they were very accommodating. The waitress was lovely and can not rate this place highly enough. 1st class

We went here for dinner as it was close to our hotel and it's very well recommended by friends who've been. The seafood buffet was around 7,000 kronas per person and served everyday from half 5 in the afternoon. We loved the Blue Ling Ceviche, Cured Whale and Seafood Gratin. My personal favourite is the Blueshell in white wine and... More

Tried here on our last night. Wasn't disappointed although we all said now that we've done it we don't feel the need to do it again. Loved that I tried things here that I wouldn't necessarily order off a menu but glad I had a taste of it. Really expensive, but the 9 and 11 year olds in our party... More

We ate here the first night and tried the seafood/lamb/beef buffet. The selection was emense. You could eat as much as you liked, sampling different fish, shellfish or cuts of meet. The service was excellent and the Resturant looked very clean, smart and welcoming. This is probably a slightly more expensive Resturant but wort every penny.

We dined here on Christmas day, for my husband's 30th Birthday dinner. We had made a booking and were shown straight to our table and given the wine list. Our choice took a little while to arrive - we were already half way through our starters when the bottle arrived. However, the buffet was a delicious mix of Traditional Icelandic... More

My friend and I decided to push the boat out and have a fish buffet on our first night in Iceland. Whilst expensive and also the drinks, it was well worth it enabling us to try different fish even the whale which was nice. Service excellent too.

We visited the restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, but were disappointed with the quality although the price was fair. We took the lunchtime buffet which, believe me, at £17 each is good by Reykjavik prices. You can sample a soup and hot meal option of the day, a number of cold fish dishes, some pasta, salads and a... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by the receptionist at Reykjavik Lights who also made the booking. WOW how lucky was that! The buffet meal, though not cheap was magnificent. There was a good selection of fish, cold meats and salad and a choice of cooked meats and some delicious deserts. The service was good and we had the chance... More

On a short stay the buffet is a perfect way to become familiar with local seafood. A good selection of both cold and warm dishes. Reasonable pricing compared to set meals in quite expensive Reykjavik. Very hospitable service and nice atmosphere.
