My wife and I visited tonight for the buffet. We were really looking forward to what we thought would be a great experience eating traditional Icelandic food. We found the selection of food was very limited, much of the dishes were the same but presented...More

One might expect this place to be a tourist trap, with a large gulf between quality and price. I didn't find it so - pleasingly good food and efficient service.

We had the buffet here on a Saturday evening. It was quite expensive (6950 ISK) per person but the food was good. At this price, dessert and coffee was included. They had several seafood dishes to choose from, some beef and of course lamb. There...More

Here you will get a very good lunch buffet in the middle of Reykjavik. You will find a comlete lunch, with starters, main course and dessert. Good service and a nice enviroment.

We ate fish and drank mushroom soup there. Both dishes were very delicious. I also liked the dried tomato bread that they served before the main dish.

Given the high prices in Iceland 2200 ISK for a seafood lunch buffet felt like a steal. Also this was good way to try many different seafood dishes that you might not dare to try otherwise! The select of cold seafood dishes ranged from a...More

We stopped here for an early dinner after a full day of sightseeing and not really stopping for lunch. So we were hungry! When we arrived, the host showed us the buffet and gave us a quick rundown. Then , we were seated and they...More

No, we did not order off the menu as we wanted to be able to try a selection of the local foods and that's not really an option if you order a meal off the menu.
