Had a lovely lunch here on our whistle stop visit to Gozo. It’s down the backstreets but not hard to find. Food was delicious and freshly cooked. Husband had the french toast which I tried - it was the best I had every tasted (and...I’m not a huge fan of it). The 2 young ladies serving and preparing were very friendly and hospitable.More

It’s a cosy cafe and if you’re after a good and wholesome brunch then this should be your pitstop. The drinks and sweets are also to be recommended especially the smoothies. Everything is made fresh and it shows. One has to book beforehand to be...guaranteed a place at the cafe as it’s tiny. It’s my second time at the cafe and we’ve always pre booked so as not to be turned away due to lack of space. Highly recommend.More

My partner and I visited the black cat cafe as its one of few that caters for vegans. We noted the good reviews and were looking forward to our visit, however immediately upon walking into the cafe we were met with rudeness. Instead of being...welcomed, we were met by the manager who seemed inconvenienced by our visit. It was a palpably cold and inhospitable welcome. Nonetheless, we persevered to try the food. We were told to sit at a table and proceeded to listen to the manager discussing her personal issues at length (impossible not to overhear due to the initiate nature of the cafe). The food was of a good standard and we very much enjoyed everything we had, apart from an overpowering amount of tumeric in the scrambled tofu (IMO). Despite this mixed experience, we returned to grab some lunch a couple of days later due to limited other options and the good quality food. We arrived at 2pm and were told there were no tables available. The manager then addressed her assistant (without looking at us) to state ‘the kitchens closed anyhow’) despite there being a closing time of 4pm. No offer of takeaway, no apology, and no interest yet again. Again, very dismissive, disinterested, rude and an appalling way to run a business. The assistant was extremely pleasant and must be very patient…. It’s a shame she’s not running the place as it could be a much more positive experience. Perhaps some social skills/hospitality training is in order.More

Have been coming here for a few years now and the Paula never disappoints. Even during these difficult COVID times the quality is as good as ever!

Great little Breakfast/Brunch Coffeehouse tuckes away in the back streets of Victoria. Either book or else ask for a table go for a walk and cone back as they only have 4 tables. Food menu is small but small means fresh and good. Cakea are...to die for had the carrot cake its amazing. Also a place where they make a dexent espresso and not much of them around in Gozo. Will return when we are back on the rock.More

We visited Black Cat Cafe twice during our recent stay in Gozo. Loved it both times. Great choice of food, well priced and the taste is heavenly. The place is tiny, so make sure to book in advance. Great service and atmosphere ❤

Delicious brunch, super friendly staff. Worth booking a table to avoid being disappointed. Milkshakes were delicious as well as the entire food menu.
