My partner and I both had the tasting menu and just WOW! We love trying lots of different restaurants around the world and can say that Noni has the best tasting menu we've had. Every dish had beautiful flavours and were so well presented. Loved...the intimate surroundings, felt so relaxed during the whole experience. Staff were great and really attentive. Highly recommended!More

We went for dinner after the covid situation in Malta. The service was impeccable and the food was to die for. Very impressive to see traditional Maltese dishes transform into such an elegant dish. Will visit again for sure as this restaurant has made to...the top of our favourites.More

Stunning really worth the visit from the wonderful (and plentiful) amuse bouche through to the 2 starters (we chose 4 course a la carte - choice of 3 course or full tasting menu available) and super main and wonderful deserts and a magic box of...petit fours this was a great experience. Such a lot of thought going into the food, flavours and presentation in a great underground setting. Worth the Michelin star and reasonable prices compared to the U.K. for similar. Would highly recommend and visit again without hesitation.More

Cannot fault the food. Everything we had was more than delicious. The pre apps set the tone, tomato dish so clean and perfectly balanced. Pork and Guinea fowl mains equally good. Wait from starter to main a little long at 45 mins, chairs really need...to offer better comfort and a broader selection of finer wines by the glass could be offered considering they have a coravin. Other those small points I thoroughly recommend eating here.More

In terms of food, this restaurant was our favorite on Malta. Definitely Michelin-star quality. We would have given it five stars hands down if it wasn't for an uncomfortable and rather stressful incident that definitely had an impact on our dinner. When I requested three...courses and my daughter opted for four courses, we were informed that the entire table had to have the same number of courses. Whilst I understand that policy for a tasting menu, this lack of flexibility was surprising, and not in a good way. The maitre told us she'd discuss it with the chef, which she evidently did as they ended up making an exception and I was able to order three courses. Had I known it would be a problem I would have simply ordered four courses. The matter was virtually forgotten until another couple, who had visited the restaurant previously, was seated at the table next to ours. The woman also asked for three courses, her partner for four courses. They received a smiling 'no problem' from the maitre. What?! This left us with a bitter taste after an otherwise wonderful meal.More

We visited this restaurant yesterday and opted for the 6 course tasting menu. We were both blown away by the whole experience. There was absolutely nothing to fault. This was our second experience at a Michelin star restaurant but Noni was on a whole other...level. Each plate was an exceptional combination of food artistry and flavour explosions with a few suprising twists presented as clever illusions. The risotto with glazed veal tongue and balsamic vinegar was the least elaborate in presentation but it more than made up for it in flavour - it elicited goosebumps with every spoonful, something I had not experienced before with food. The service was impeccable. Every waiter was friendly but courteous. Ritienne's (restaurant manager and sister of Chef Jonathan Brincat) attention to even the minutest details to ensure that her patrons are comfortable and enjoying the experience the restaurant wants to deliver was excellent. Would we come back? Without a shadow of a doubt. What a wonderfulMore

This was by far one of the best restaurants in Malta. We opted for the tasting menu and the wine pairing. The food was a really high standard, and a well balanced menu. The decor was simple and chic and the service friendly. We would...definitely go back again!More

Noni accommodated a last minute request for me to dine solo and went out of their way to make the night great. The food was exquisite and the service was fantastic - I only regret not tipping more. But solo traveller on a budget! Highlight...of my trip. Thank you for your time and attention to detail!More

Space is in a basement, not providing the best environment, much less the safest, given the pandemic situation. We chose Noni to end our holiday in Malta, after fifteen days of fantastic experiences. Unfortunately, it became the worst of them all. We both opted for...the octopus and it was not edible because it was like rubber and all the dish had no taste. The employees tried to save the situation, but everything they brought later did not compensate, nor justified the prices we paid in this restaurant. We understand and pay the prices in some places when there is effective quality of ingredients and exceptional confection. It's not the case. I just can’t recommend this.More

Noni quite simply knocked it out of the park. I love exquisite creative AND tasty food. So does my husband and he is notoriously difficult to please. Favourites include Core, Hedone of a few years ago, Gordon Ramsey Hospital Road. Honestly the quality and taste...at Noni are comparable, even if the atmosphere is marginally more low key - which suits Valetta. Several delicious amuse bouche to start with, including what looked like large black olives but were some cleverly made olive / vegetable mix. Unbelievably tasty red prawn ravioli. Otoro, urchin and dash - heaven! Incredible rabbit. I can't remember everything as we don't take pictures of our food but rather enjoy it. The Maltese Grand Maitre 2002 red was much the same as 2002 Latour we have had. Just not as expensive (decant..). We will be returning to Valetta just for Noni. The manager recommended a fish restaurant called Tartarun in Marsaxlokk which we went to instead of a more fur coat and no knickers restaurant (ie. all views). That was amazing for local seafood. I'm salivating thinking about Noni. Our only mistake was not going back twice more again.More
