One of the best places I've eaten at in Valletta. Food was amazing, service impeccable and as to Covid preventive measures we felt very safe. Really enjoyed the evening, the food, wine and incredible dessert and was never rushed throughout the dinner. Well done to...all staff and owner whom we noticed was very much into making sure our experience and that of all other patrons was superb. Well merited 5 stars.More

First time in this restaurant, but definitely not the last. Hosts were top notch, food an awesome experience and fair prices. Definitely will go back. Not to be missed.

We were very undecided where to go for a meal, and after having read previous reviews, we decided to go to this Capistrano restaurant. Since one does not base the food quality on friendly people, I will refer to the food and base my judgement...on it . I can say that it was the worst experience of my life. The quality and its presentation was what is expected of a wife cooking her first meal ever for her husband! It is beyond imagination that neither Malta Tourism Authority nor any food and beverage authorised body check what is being dished out by some outlets. As for my recommending it to others, no way even if at the cost of staying hungry! Friendly service though!More

I came here in April 2018 and had the most incredible steak but could not remember the name of the restaurant. Finally I found it 2.5 years later and the quality of the food is still outstanding. Very friendly staff made the evening even more...enjoyable. I will return when I am next in Malta. I would recommend the maltese platter, arancini and steak. The restaurant was kind enough to offer some vegetarian options which were also delicious.More

We had booked ahead and greeted as soon as we entered. Waitress explained at length, some of the items on the menu that we queried as my wife has an intolerance to some foods. We were presented with appetizers (on the house) while we waited...for our orders. Did not wait an overly long time for our meal to be served. Our group of four ordered the Maltese four course menu. Food was excellent throughout, though I will say, the fish portion could have been slightly larger. :) Great service also, Very attentive staff. Even the chef came over to ask if everything was ok. Complimentary Limoncello to top it all off. All in all, a lovely night out. Well done.More

Steak was impeccable, accompanying assorted veg/potatoes/sauces were sublime. Wine excellent! Staff and service were amazing, had such a good time with the group of 9 I was with. Not one thing to complain about. Would HIGHLY recommend.

The food was superb and the tables had a good distance not like a recent experience which I had in an other restaurant, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

Visited Capistrano lately as I had visited this place on quite a number of occasions and had always had a great evening with very good food. Things must have changed for the worse lately and I suspect it must be under a new management or...a new chef as in my last visit I experienced terrible food and shoddy service. It took us a good 45 minutes to be served the starters, and I had opted for fish soup which was a total disappointment, very bland, more like runny water with three half tomatoes swimming at the bottom and it was served almost cold! Another long wait for the main course to arrive and this time I had the misfortune to order octopus stew which again was a total disaster! Again it was served nearly cold and it had an extremely overwhelming salty taste that it just was inedible. One might ask why I did not complain but frankly I just wanted a relaxing evening out and a good meal and i was in no mood to complain.More

We had a nice evening. I had a typical Maltese dish with different things on = sausage, cheese, vegetables to try. It was good but really too much (I had to take some home). My children ate noodles. There was not enough sauce. They were...not the best we had. The portions are huge. The waitress was very friendly. We had fun with her.More
