Koks is a unique experience. It is really like nothing else and something special. The view is just amazing and the set up of the restaurant really cozy. It was only after I had booked that I realised the restaurant had moved from the hotel to a tiny village on the coast. A huge picture window looks out over a number of islands and there was the usual mix of clouds, sun and water as the sun went down, everything fading to black except the lights of villages... More

The meal, the drinks, the atmosphere etc is simply worth traveling for. If you ever find yourself on the Faroe Islands, visit KOKS.

We decided to try this place based on lots of complements and reviews. Fantastic wine and food pairing. Incredible view. The staff was impeccably friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have been happier with our experience. A unique and eye opening tour through Faroese cuisine.

This restaurant is extreme good, serving special developed Faroese dishes with wine adapted to every dish. I can really recommand it , but it's not cheap. But what do you prefer? Quality og ...?

I agree with all the good comments about this restaurant and I give it the excellent rating. Just two points : We added even more discovery by chosing the "juice pairing" instead of "wine pairing". It was not a good idea. Apart from creating less atmosphere than wine, juices are all very sweet, I don't recommend. Not for big eaters,... More

The 17 course menu (7 starters, 10 main courses) was outstanding and we also opted for the wine pairing which was fantastic. We finished our Faroe Island tour with Koks. A worthy closure of a nature/cuisine tour of the islands. The restaurant has relocated to a, slightly converted, modern house overlooking Hessfjordur, from its previous location, Føroyar hotel. Certainly in a league of its own. Atmosphere is relaxed yet classy. View at the current location is wonderful. Food is truly magnificent. You have to come to Faroe Islands JUST to eat here!!!! Most amazing meal!
