We are here on a business trip and both opted for the set menu. The first issue we faced was receiving the starter ahead of the amuse bouche. Not a big issue but when the amuse bouche did arrive, it had clearly come from the freezer and not been properly defrosted. Having had to make our second complaint in quick... More

This is a place where the locals, often elder, have lunch and dinner in monaco. Good food, reasonably priced. The menu includes local dishes but not really any caviar. If you want an honest and traditional restaurant in monaco, this is the place to go.

Really pleasant open interior, great service and the food is excellent. We had seen the place and never gone in. Finally tried it and realized we were missing our locals haunt. Back once already and great experience both times

New discovery in Monaco though I did go for lunch some years ago, had never dined there before. Other than a couple of faults such as asking us to order when we had hardly sat down and repeated requests for the order eventually when WE were ready we ordered. This is one of the older established restaurants in Monaco and... More

After trying so many Italian restaurants, it was refreshing to find this place which was recommended. Portions were light and not heavy and prices reasonable.

From the home made fois gras and Sauternes starter, through devilled kidneys and veal escalope with home made tagliatelle and great wine. This was a great find and very reasonably priced menu. I'm a difficult customer for this region by not eating garlic but the menu was freshly prepared, giving me full choice and no raised eyebrows. Definitely worth a... More

Stumbled across La Maison du Caviar, it is in off-the-beaten-track location; we were welcomed-in and seated on the terrace. Given the name we had to have some caviar, and it was served with Blini - it was "just right". The wine list is good, and the pricing very good. Service was attentive, the ambiance was 'right' and the bill wasn't... More
