It was New Year's Eve and we needed a bottle of wine, so stopped in as everything else was closed. I chose an expensive bottle of wine for us, around 40 euro. The man running the show, I am guessing Leonardo, was soooooo nice, but sickly nice, hugging me, telling me how much he loves Americans, and then chatting in... More

It has adequate selection of proscuitto and salami, but poor and over priced selection of wine. Mostly Puglia selection. Various sauces, if missing some products from Italy, can be ok

I was there few times and after travelling around the world I hardly found such a place with so expensive italian food (being italian myself I am very knowledgeable in the subject). I would not recommend it at all, there is a lot better in town (in Markthalle!)

Firstly, we didn't eat here...I thought I'd better say that up front after reading some of the reviews of Leonardo's! We wandered past in search of somewhere to have a drink late-ish on a Saturday night, we heard music coming from inside and after standing at the door gazing through the clear bits the door opened and a young happy... We fancied an Italian meal so went into this place on a Friday eve 31/1/14. About 8 o'clock. We were given this table for two and a member of staff dressed in a cooks whites came over jabbering in Italian I speak good German but he wouldn't stop. We said wine please. He said house wine? We said maybe a... More

We only went into this place because we arrived in town late on a Saturday night before Christmas and everywhere else was fully booked. In contrast Leonardo's was completely empty, and we soon found out why. The ministrone looked and tasted like washing-up water and had hardly any vegetables in it. The risotto was like glue and was swimming in... More

You will never find the locals eating here - only tourists (and they don't come back!). The reasons are not hard to find: you won't be given a menu, even if you ask for one. You will be given antipasti, even if you don't order it and naturally you will be over-charged for it. Service is miserable. And if you... More

We were all set for what looked like the real deal for an Italian restaurant. Very authentic with a fabulous deli attached. It is very handy for the Hilton Hotel where we were staying. I called in the deli and asked for a slice to pizza to go which would put me on until the main meal. There were no... More
