Charm, atmosphere, great staff, vine, and still one of the best steaks in town. All you need for a fantastic evening treat with friends!

My wife spotted this little gem of a restaurant and we went back twice during our stay. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is wonderful as many have said the rosti's are superb and the restaurant itself is quirky (in a good way). Definitely one to visit when in the old town just down from the golden... More

Nice place with a great ambiance. We had a nice evening in Piano with some good food and the staff was nice as well. I would definitely go back.

I discovered this place with my wife while wandering around the Altstadt and finding out that a previously-recommended restaurant was closed for a month (Betriebsurlaub). The menu board outside pointed down a corridor off one of the main pedestrian streets and we found ourselves in a small, narrow kitchen area with adjacent bar and a small collection of tables. There... More

This is hard to find but worth the effort. Looks like a family run restaurant and lots of locals frequent this lovely little gem. The staff are great and seem to love what they do. Austrians aren't the friendliest bunch but these guys are very welcoming. My wife stumbled upon this bar when we were out looking for a late... More

Food is really nice, but you will get charged on wine and drinks exagerately, steak variatons are recommendable, salads fresh and tasty, firendly staff, reservation also on weekdays, restricted space in winter

We stumbled upon this great restaurant by accident. It is cosy and you can feel the family work hard and enjoy the food they create. Everything we had was melt in the mouth fantastic. Definitely a must visit if you want real delicious Austrian food without the tourist twist.

Eating lunch here was a very good experience. The prompt service was appreciated as we have not found this very often in Austria this trip. However we didn't feel rushed. The staff were friendly and the menu excellent. My rosti was delicious. The prices were reasonable. By the number of people who were greeted by name I assume that it... More

A friend and I found this place when wandering around the Christmas markets in Innsbruck. The staff were able to accommodate us as a walk in at roughly Lunchtime on a Saturday but were clearly very busy (so pre-booking is advised) . We both ordered the Rosti with egg and spinach which was delicious and came with an unexpected and... More
