A well known restaurant for the locals, and yet perfect for tourists. It can accommodate big groups, private parties, customers who would like something light or something more fancy.

The staff weren't very welcoming. They took a lot of time to arrange us a table on a evening when the restaurant was far from crowd. The food is okay but not worthy the price.

Been here many times due to many different occasions and always had excellent food and service. A typical Tyrollean restaurant, so off course do they have schnitzel:-) and it should be eaten with the potato salad.

If you like typical Austrian food, this is the place to eat. It is situated a 10 minute walk from the end of the number 3 tram. The restaurant has several small wood panelled rooms. The food we ate on the 2 nights we visited was georgeous. A very rich deer stew, schnitzel and calves liver. They also brew an... More

Very great restaurant, typical Austrian. The menu is small but delicious and all the dishes are tasty and good presented. Portions are big so it's up to you if you wanna explode or take it easy. Service is excellent and the waiters are friendly and patience. It's a must when in Innsbruck. I will definitely go back when in town.

I would like to start this review with the positives first. Kind staff and beautiful restaurant. The broth with cheese and speck dumpling were very tasty compared to others in Austria and Germany. However, please BEWARE of BREAD and WATER. First and foremost, the menu stated that bread cost 1,20 euro (not per piece), just stated “1,20 euro” for bread.... More

Staff was amazing. Super friendly, helpful and prompt. Greeted at the door by the hostess who got us a table- did not have a reservation. House beer is a must and is delicious. We had the deer stew and goose meals. The portions were plentiful and very well done. The goose is only available certain times a year. Rich and... More

We had a great and pleasant evening with our friends. Friendly/efficient employees, excellent local Food, Super local Beer and great local Tyrolienne atmosphere & decoration. They have a nice Bar which can be used for a meeting place with friends and as Apero an area. This is a not to be missed visit for any out of town visitor. It... More

Restaurants in hotels tend to be expensive and this is no exception. However the food quality and service were outstanding, so the price is really worth it! Very welcoming and attentive staff. The homemade beer was delicious. As was the Tiroler Groestl. Huge portion and a nice salad. The only downside is that they serve you a bread basket and... More

Description
As is typical of a Tyrolean inn, the chef here serves only the very best from Tyrol and the rest of Austria.

Variety and regional products are a priority for us. The ingredients largely come from the surrounding area - whether Tyrolean dumplings or Viennese schnitzel. This ensures that the quality of the vegetables, meat and fish is of the appropriate standard.

The restaurant serves whatever is in season. This means fresh fish and asparagus in spring with wild garlic and other spring vegetables. Summer is all about light cuisine. Summer salads and fresh fruit can be found on the menu. When autumn sets in outside and the leaves start to change colour, the menu features wild game dishes and pumpkin. And in winter, a hearty roast is a must.

The restaurant in Innsbruck also offers a cosy ambience. Whether in the Tyrolean Zirbenstube (stone pine lounge), the new lounge with its glass roof or the Bierstube lounge - there is something for everyone here.
