As I said in the title, for me no trip to Innsbruck is complete without a trip to the Wilderin. Claudia and Michi are the perfect hosts, and their menu is always creative to the point sometimes of edginess- maybe it's the Englishman inside me...More

I love the concept of this restaurant. Delicious food that are created to minimize the impact on the environment. I can especially recommend the risotto, which is based on other grains than the carnarolli rice.

True, the restaurant is pretty cosy, with a mezzanine level, and looks more like a bar or pub, but if you are after great food and service, it is THE place to be. More, the menu changes regularly. Make a booking if you can because...More

Awesome place We enjoyed their finger food so much. We didn't book a table and got there quite late, nevertheless they accommodate us with a smaller table, and the service is really 5 ⭐️. Ambience is amazing too with great music and cocktails.

We saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor and booked it through our hotel. The menu was quite small about 4 starters and 4 mains and two desserts. I had the cured golden trout for starters. It was beautiful, so tasty but quite a small portion....More

Small cosy venue, gets very busy, and better to prebook if you want food in the evening. The menu changes daily and if you do not speak German the waiting staff happily translate the menu into English for you. Comfortable chairs just for drinking on...More

This is a cozy little place where the locals come to eat. Everyone is warm and friendly and very helpful in translating the menu. We relaxed with a drink and ordered our first course. My wife had a rolled chicken stuffed with spinach. It was...More

The food here was so delicious and well priced. It also looked beautiful. Serving sizes were good, my sister and I had a starter each and shared a main as we weren't very hungry (due to the heat). The staff were very accomodating and attentive,...More

Visited last year and again April 17. Standards have not slipped. Meals imaginative and very enjoyable. Will revisit again next time in Innsbruck

Situated just off the main tourist road this little restaurant is a real gem. It's positioned perfectly so that it's convenient to get to but doesn't feel the need to go in for any of the tackiness that so many places on tourist friendly areas...More

Hi Ian, if you wanna grab the table which is avaliable until 19:45 you should pop by at 18:00 (ish) to enjoy a comfortable dinner - although I do suggest you grab a place at the bar: Food tastes the same, the company is... More

die Wilderin offers modern and yet traditional alpine cuisine. All produce used is sourced directly at local farmers and producers in adherence with seasonal offerings - only what is available at any given moment in time will find its way into die Wilderin's kitchen and onto the plates. Animals are bought as a whole and used that way - meaning, whatever a whole animal can offer on different cuts will be offered. No more, no less. die Wilderin's team is by no means perfect but we are all trying hard, love our jobs and hope our guests take the plunge with us - it's a hell of a ride.
